So I did zero exercise these last two weeks (UGH!) despite wanting to. Yesterday, I noticed the pain subsided a bit so my husband (!) and I went to the gym. I got on the treadmill to test myself out and... IT HURT SO MUCH TO JOG! And jogging is my #1 favorite exercise. I started to try to do it twice and I just couldn't. I hurt badly whenever my right foot hit the ground. I got off the treadmill and moved to the lower-impact elliptical and did that for around 50 mins. ... *sigh* I'm not a huge fan of the ellpitical... I was working with all my might on it at a high resistance but I didn't *feel* like I was exerting myself like I feel on the treadmill. I was hardly sweating.
I'm so annoyed at this stupid injury or whatever it is. It's totally thrown a monkey wrench into my exercise. I'm going to try doing an exercise video tomorrow morning and I will return to the gym tonight and, I guess, ride the elliptical some more (booo
). I don't even know what caused it -- I didn't overexert myself exercising bc when it happened, I hadn't worked out in almost a week. BLAGH! I'm so annoyed!Does anyone have any tips for making the most of my elliptical time? Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of sciatica??
Thanks! Boo!
(I hope everyone had a nice Halloween, btw)

Haha just kidding, but congrats on the marriage!
