Yes those munchos would be the culprits. I about died when I actually calculated my weight watcher points on them. It was 10 for the bag, it was one of the those super grab bags that had like 3 servings in them. The cake was awesome. My mom's friend is a cake baker/decorator and she has made our cakes since we have lived here. They are so good, moist chocolate cake, with wonderful chocolate icing in red, green, and orange fall colors. It was pretty.

I really want a fondant cake though like one of those they Duff makes on Ace of Cakes on the Food Network. That would be fridgin' awesome.

ehhh fondant isn't that tasty. It's nice to look at but thats about it for me.

now ice cream cake I've had to do moral battle with this week. I'm 0-2 :(

Haha, yes if I can recall, when I was younger I would always beg my mom to get me Munchos and I remember her saying no because they were too unhealthy... I didn't get much guidance in the way of making healthy choices when I was younger, so I figured that they must've been REALLY bad for you. I also remember them being crazy-salty, so I hope you drank a lot of water with them! Hehe. They are so freakin' tasty, though. Mmm.

The cake sounds beautiful, and delicious! And yes, fondant looks sooo decadent to me, too. I'd love to try it! All this talk about cake is really making me want some, lol. It has been a really long time since I've had any cake, wow, I should get an award for that... But then it would have to get taken away for all the times I've had other things I shouldn't have, LOL! :D

you would think that as a cake decorator I would just be flat out sick of cake and most days that's true but some days i just want to stick my face in it.

Stupid Halloween candy.... Milk Duds got the best of me today...

Mmmmm... cake.

I've had a good weekend so far. One of the only places in the world I'd feel comfortable dishing about what I've eaten-- I love you all. :D

Had oatmeal for breakfast, small amount of leftover rice pasta and veggies for lunch, low-fat hamburger sans bun, baked potato and steamed veggies for dinner. :D *pride*

I have gotten into a weird habit tho... McDonald's drive-thru at 10 pmish every few nights. ...and all I order is a large diet coke. But honestly, I CRAVE this drive-thru trip, because I love draft pop... but I've been having no problem at all just ordering a pop and that's it. Isn't that weird? :?:

sundays started well....
apple for breakfast followed by a workout!....

sh3l5 11-02-2008 09:53 AM

for dinner....
3 boiled potatoes, serving boiled brocoll, serving boiled leeks with melted cheese on top, 3 slices of turkey....
far too much, hence no pudding!....
tea will be a 50 cal yoghurt and a fruit cake i think!....

My saturday was pretty great, I counted my calories for the first time in a long long while and it turned out I had eaten 1515, which is fine. (I aim somewhere between 1400-1700, when I eat less I get hungry and start snacking.) And I went swimming for 30 minutes. Afterwards I bought a drying frame, something I have been needing for a long time. Plus it was quite a hassle to get it home.

Today I finally broke my running plateau (I should have ran 3 x 10 minutes with 4 walking in between for a long time, but I was putting it off). It actually was pretty easy. Some jerk made a sneering comment to me, so I gave him the finger, which made me feel pretty good. And I finally figured out a way to keep my plain earphones in my ears during running: wearing a large handkerchief like a pirate does. I must have looked ridiculous, but who the **** cares? Oh, and a regular runner at the park complimented me on my sprint :). So, all in all, today has spruced up my running motivation quite a bit.

Sh3 - An apple is not enough for breakfast...let alone fuel to workout! Was your dinner (tea) just a a yogurt and a fruit cake?? That seems to be barely 1.200!

sh3l5 11-02-2008 02:00 PM

no....
i had another apple for tea too....
judging by the amounts i ate i think its about 800 calories for the day....

kelli32 11-02-2008 02:01 PM

Elwing - congrats on the running.. I love running after the first 20 min, that kills me but once I hit 20 I can run forever these days!

Jelbb- I LOVE LOVE LOVE fountain pop. I actually won't drink pop any other way, since I don't drink it that often its not that big of a deal. McDonalds actually has more carbonation in their pop than any other place you'll get it, I only know this because my uncle used to work for CocaCola. lol. Maybe that's why your addicted to the drive thru :) congrats on not caving in for some fries!

I didn't eat very good yesterday but I also didn't eat very much, so I've stayed within my calories just not with healthy food. I had the salad bar and tons of fruit for lunch today to make up for it.. I'm goin to go to the gym on campus when it opens later this afternoon.

Taylor86 11-02-2008 02:15 PM

800???? Tell me you are going to be eating more! Please! Oh, honey - that's not enough for anyone to live off off!

Pretty good weekend for me (as long as you dont count friday evening...)
On thurday i posted a thread about how i weighed in at 127 ish but it was due to extreme dehydration from heavy drinking the night before... Well today i ACTUALLY weigh 127, without heavy drinking the night before, woop woop!!
I've actually been upping my cals recently and i the weight has started to drop again, i'm so happy!
But my boyfriend has left for Las Vegas today and all i want to do is eat because im so lonely and bored :( I just need to keep busy i think. But a glass of red wine and some dark chocolate would be lovely right now. I must resist!
Here's to another good week of weight loss!
