it's the little things! right?!

  • i bought myself a lunch box to motivate myself to take food to work instead of eating fast food all the time:

i know it looks like hannah montana's lunchbox, but so what...i like, even the sparkly guitars. also, yeah, it's small. we had a bigger one (i work at a toy store where i bought it), but i intentionally got the smaller one.
  • That is definitely cute! I saw it and it did make me say, ''Is that Hannah Montana style?'' lol no worries. It is the smaller things and if it motivates you then that's all that matters!
  • Good for you! A new habit in the process of forming...! Good for you!
  • How exciting! I've always wanted a bento box for my lunches.
  • AWESOME.

    You rule hehe

I need to start bringing lunch to school, I usually eat on campus and get subway or salad bar....
  • Great idea!!! I love the lunch box I have for work. It's mint green and gray and just really pretty...haha.
  • yeah, i really wanted this one...it was brown and aqua and had a giraffe print trim handle thing. but we only had it in the big one and i thought that wouldn't be a good idea.
  • Lol of course it is the little things that count! Making little changes that don't seem like much, but when you add all those little things together it makes a huge difference... And I like the sparkly guitars, too! But then again, I like anything bright and/or sparkly, hehe!
  • Now that's a cute lunch box :-D

We actually made a bento box in Ceramics my senior year in HS. I still have it. lol
  • thats awesome...i did that too, but so far it hasnt worked so well...Better Luck to you!
  • Another thing that will inspire you to take lunches is that my husband & I had a tight week, so we decided to do as many meals at home as we could...I made dinner every night & he only went out when he was at work all day (which is only once a week) and we saved about $250-$300!!! FOR ONE WEEK!! How ridiculous is that?! It is encouraging to see how much we can save by eating at home. We were both eating out twice a day & I was throwing in a Starbucks. Now I've only had one Starbucks this week, and we saved $30 (I was getting them almost 7 days a week).

    Hope that encourages you!! =)
  • Cute! I've been wanting a new lunch box. Mine works fine, but it's old and very boring.

I'm a student, with no transportation/time to go off campus for lunch, and I can't bring myself to pay the ridiculous prices for food on campus. It's bad enough that I occasionally pay nearly $2 for a freaking coffee. I need to bring in some tea and a mug.

Yesterday I bought lunch on campus and it ended up being kinda gross, and I wished I had a good sandwich or salad or something from home. I looove sandwiches, so that makes it easy to decide what to pack for lunch. Just add some veggies and fruit and a half serving of pretzels or baked chips or something, and I'm in heaven.
