Default Is my scale broken or something?

Ok I am really confused. So today I got on the scale to do my weekly weigh in, it said I was the exact same weight I was last week which was 162.6. I was pretty annoyed because I'd done pretty well this week. So then I went about doing my morning things, had a bowl of cereal, worked on some homework. Then I got curious and I stepped on the scale again it said 156, I was sure that must be wrong so I tried again this time it said 157.8, I tried again 158.4, again 159. I stepped on it 4 times after that and it stayed on 159. I don't know whether to believe it or not. That would mean I had a 3.6 lb lose this week, which would be awesome but hard to believe.

Even though I have a set "weigh-in" day, I always weigh myself the day before as well to make sure I'm on the right track. So if I see, say 165 on Thursday, then 160 on Friday.... I'd probably average the two, and call it good. However, if I see 165 on Thursday and 164.8 on Friday-- I know I'm 164.8

I had that same sort of troubles a while ago-- I went from 173 to 159 in one night-- my scale had a calibration problem (it was convinced I was 159 ALL DAY-- no matter what I wore or what I ate..) So I checked my weight at a girlfriends house to make sure it was the scale that was crazy, not me

Hope this helps!! ^_^

Is your scale digital? I used to have a digital one that did that exact same thing and then I went to one of those old fashioned manual ones. Even if its not calibrated exactly right the first time, it will show you real weight every time. I like it better...
