I am not a big fish person, but i do like white fish, pan fried in coconut milk with a tiny bit of chile although the coconut milk isnt particularly low fat i guess, but im sure there are low fat/calorie versions

I can respect the shopping the perimeter theory but it doesn't work for everybody. I think I can shop the aisles as long as I know what the heck it is I'm buying (read the label!) It's true that I no longer buy a lot of already packaged foods but I do buy a lot of ingredients and I don't know if that's different. Probably.

Canned tuna (in water) is always a great idea! Even though it has a lot of sodium itīs low cal, lots of protein, little fat and you just have to open the can and voila, itīs ready!!!
Raw veggies and fruits, nonfat yogurt and milk
I also love avocados, great source of good fats, just have to be careful with the portions!
