Has anyone lost weight while on their period??

As my TOM is coming up :( I usually gain which I know is all water weight but still plays with my head about gaining. Usually I go back down afterward. Has anyone lost weight while on their period?

How long after dooes your weight normally go back down? I can never figuer myself out. Do you usually gain the week leading up to it and then loose it when TOM arrives or after TOM is long gone and completely finished with his visit? :)lol

I can never know... Because I get cravings during my periods, so I usualy get off my plan and actually really gain weight, after I have to get back in track and get the scale down again...
I always wanna see if it really happens (to gain weight during our period), but I always mess with my diet at that time... Am I the only one who has cravings during TOM?

I also generally gain the week before and then go back down during my TOM. It's different for everyone I guess.

I usually gain the week before and gradually lose the week during to reach my lowest point when it's completely gone. However, I usually binge at least one time the week before due to terrible cravings. HTH. :)

I'm the same way as SavingServo. I go back down during TOM.

It depends on the month. Some months I gain like crazy the week before and stay the same during and then "deflate" afterwards.

Sometimes I consistently lose even during TOM. It varies.

Same here.

I usually lose like 5lbs the week before and gain it all back during because I have no energy to do anything except eat chocolate and watch lifetime movies. I've started working out on the days where the symptoms aren't as bad, but for two days, I'm usually out of it.

i have. My weight loss has been pretty consistent over the past 2 months, if you look at the graph you really cant pick out which weeks i had my periods on.I think the thing is that i dont really crave stuff on my period (i know, i am so lucky) i just get really tired (so i dont really exercise as hard out). It must just balance out

Well I usually gain a little before and during. Then when its all over i come back down usually about 2-4lbs

I used to gain bc I too would get cravings and binge. But now I either maintain or actually lose weight. So for me it's more about controlling my actions than controling my body if that makes any sense =).

I lose weight right on through my TOM, I have never seen a gain because of it.

I tend to continue to lose fat throughout my TOM, but the scale doesn't always show it right away. I tend to gain water weight right before and keep it on for several days.

I can count on anywhere from 5 to 8 lb of water weight and fluctuation around the beginning of my period every month.

i have messed up TOM, every 5-8 weeks, and when i have it its usually very painful due to a tipped womb. I usually gain weight and it can take 2 weeks to come off, no matter how much i exercise. I think TOM is one of the reasons i give up every now and then, because mother nature like to make it hard!!
