i was off-track from about May until just last week. luckily the weight gain was minimal (in the 5-7 lb. range, depending on the scale/time of day). i have been back on-plan for over a week, and i feel great! i'm stuck in a place that i always get stuck at - the 200s and 210s (i've seen 198 once in my adult life, when i dieted the first time around in 2005.)
anyways, i've decided since i'm back on track i could use some extra motivation. i plan to buy myself a new Vera Bradley bag once i hit my next 10% (no, i'm not a sorority girl or a grandma, i just like
VB.
hehe). since that's not a $60 bucks i can justify on its own, this way it'll be a reward. i'm not setting any specific timeframe for this goal, so hopefully this will provide a little extra incentive.
i'm sure there are others that have used this method. have you been successful?
