Ah honey I'm sure that chair breaking had nothing to do with you sitting in it. Like a lot of other people said, skinny people break chairs too.

I'd make a joke out of telling them too...that's how I tell my boss when I drop the ball majorly. Luckily I work at a church :)

You'll look back on this with a smile someday. That chair breaking meant nothing about your body.

Secretely, I wanted for a hole to open so I could crawl in and disappear. I guess my brain goes into witty mode sometimes but not always. I think it is because I read too many books. My brain has an archive on quirky remarks somewhere stored. :p

Thank you all. Last night I decided that I'm really going to get serious about my food intake and losing weight. I am going to use this incident as a motivator. I appreciate everyone's encouraging words. The chair was faulty to begin with. Besides I like this new chair that I have, it's much more supportive. Still haven't seen my boss this morning so haven't mentioned the chair.

I don't know if y'all ever do this but I was looking at the mirror last night, and I was like you know kid, you are beautiful. I was focusing on each of the features that I liked about myself.... it really made me feel good, which I needed. I've never really done that for myself before. It's like I focused on all of the things that made me unique and me...no one else is designed like me inside or out and that's pretty special.

Today is a much better day already.
