Default New college girl introducing herself

Hey guys! I just thought I would make a quick post to say hello and a little something about myself.

I'm actually not new to 3fc, I've posted on the forums off and on for a few years, but I've once again had a lapse in posting and am just returning to it because it's always been helpful in the past! I'm 20, a junior in college, and have yo-yo dieted for EVER (as you can see from my sig, my high weight a few years back was 180, and I've just gotten back on WW and lost a few pounds to put me around 145). My lowest weight was around 120, but it was really not a healthy goal for me (I was sick all the time, had no energy, and just looked a bit too skinny). This time around, my goal is 125-130, and I'm really excited to get back in shape!! I used to be a dancer and recently my physical fitness has gone down the tubes haha, but I'm willing to work hard to get my dancer body back

So anyway, hi to everyone, I would love to hear from some of you 20-somethings.. what diets you're on, about your weight loss journey, whatever! I look forward to meeting everyone!!

Hi there and welcome back

That's cool that you used to be a dancer. What kind of dance did you do? I would think it's an advantage to already have that athlete mentality going on. It's all about the first step!

Welcome back...jump right in you know the drill and how great and supportive this place can be.

I am a calorie counter myself. That works the best for me right now and my lifestyle.

Have you picked a plan to follow?

Thanks for the welcomes!

junebug: I was an Irish step dancer, and also did a little modern dance/ballet on the side. I look forward to getting back into dance!

lovinlife: I'm on WW, that's the plan I have always followed in the past and have had great success.

Looking forward to seeing more of ya'll on the forums!

Hey, welcome back!
You seem basically like you were in the same boat as me which is pretty cool for me to see! I'm also 20 and also a Junior in college, (Except in Canada we call it "third year" and college and university are different here, so I'm in "Uni.") and my starting weight is only a tiny bit shy of where yours was, so. It's good to see you doing so well, it's inspiration.

Keep checkin' in with us!

BACK! I'm not in college, but need to be.
I am currently counting calories. I've been doing that for almost 2 weeks now and it seems to be working well for me. I also try to get some kind of exercise in everyday.

That's so awesome - I used to be an Irish dancer too!! Everytime I hear Irish music I miss it.
