Happy Friday!

Haven't been able to hang out as much - work has been crazy lately, but I still try and check in at least once a day so I can stay caught up.

jana - hang in there...I definately know how frustrating it is when the scale won't move, but if you are doing everythign right it has to budge eventually....right.

kim - good job getting yourself back to the gym.

I've lost 1.5 inches off my waist this week. yay!

Also, jusj, I did south beach and it was an ok diet, good luck. :D

remember- good luck powering through finals. ive been there. this semester im stressed because ive already turned my one in and my WHOLE GPA is riding on that one grade! yikeso!

Good morning.

It's saturday and I definitely have my first final tonight at 7pm. Ew. Who decided that it was a good idea to have an exam at 7pm on a saturday? Idiot schedular. :p

I'm gonna head outside here for bit, just to get some fresh air and relax. I plan to study all day, taking little breaks here and there to just keep my mind going. :D

Also tomorrow I am going to weigh in and take some "official" measurements. I haven't done this for awhile. I've just been measuring my waist here and there to make sure I haven't gained a lot of weight.... But I haven't weighed in for like 3 weeks. I'm sort of nervous... Still it'll be good to know where I'm standing I guess.

I also cannot wait for tomorrow just because I have all sorts of good busy-to-do stuff planned, like cleaning out my room, organizing my room, cleaning the main room, doing some crafting. Going swimming or maybe skating. I'm such a dork because cleaning makes me happy, and I can't wait for tomorrow to do it.

lottie - Congrats on the 1.5 inches gone!!!! *whistles* that's quite a bit. Do you have a totally number of inches lost from your waist since starting?

jana - Good luck with south beach. And what a compliment!!! Makes you feel so much more motivated to know people are noticing doesn't it?

Kim Renee - Awesome for you for getting to the gym! And it really does make you feel strong doesn't it. Especially if it's been a while since you've gone.

Thanks Cats_tongue! I wasn't going today for various excuses, but i ended up going anyway!!! I feel so great after getting into a slump. Let's hope I keep this up. Oh, excuse me, I WILL keep this up!

I feel so disorientated becuase I haven't had time to come here in days. Damn school. Well in 72 hours two of my three finals that I have left will be done. :cb: Then I just have my take home exam. Anyways I just wanted to do a quick check in . . . I've really been in control of my eating this finals which I am proud of.

Weighed in today at 146.8 lbs. What a shock. I was sure I'd be around 150lbs. And my measurements show only a slight gain as well. Just gotta get down a little bit here before the holidays. Other than that things are going swimmingly.

Finals week resulted in me totally not eating on plan or exercising, so I feel like poo now, but I'm totally motivated to get back on track because I just want to feel better... the way I feel when I'm working out and eating on track. Also, I have a tricky situation I was wondering if any of you had advice for... I live with my boyfriend and 2 other guys in a house and its tons of fun, but they eat like, well, 3 guys. I do really well with my eating until after dinner, when we all sit around and then they usually make tons of snacks, or eat chips and salsa, etc. and for hte past week I've been indulging. Do you all have any advice for good snacks that are really low cal for night time? Obviously the best idea would be to not snack... but I'm kind of low on will power and figure maybe instead of totally not snacking, I can choose somehting smarter. Thanks for any suggestions!

Why don't you have celery sticks and salsa? Or air popped popcorn? Whole foods has a great brand called half naked.

weebly- can you have a diet soda? a low cal smoothie (frozen fruit, 1/2 cup no sugar added applesauce and nf milk)? light popcorn (oroville redenbacker spell?? has one thats about 400 cals for the entire bag.



me- im encountering getting back into my old bad hbits. its so weird i just think about food all the time because i think im bored. i just say ok dont eat any more then i eat more then i think about not eating more and i think about food and of course i can only last for so long so i eat more. sigh. im trying to keep myself occupied but its not easy!
