Just curious...

So...last week I worked out for like an hour everday, watched what I ate and I gained weight. This week, I didnt even think about excercising, ate the same stuff and lost weight. How is this possible? I'm mean i'm not complaining ;) but I was just curious if anyone knows what may have caused this.

Thanks!

Did you just start a new workout routine? sometimes that'll throw your body out of whack for a bit, your body might be retaining water.

Were you sore last week?

I find that muscle soreness after a workout = extra water weight. The soreness goes, and so does the water. So if that hour a day was making you sore, it might have been the cause.

Otherwise our bodies can just be weird.

Also your body doesn't lose weight on a perfect timeline...the weight you lost the second week is probably because of the work you did the first week. You don't always see immediate results.

Also, it could be due to your menstral cycle if you had your period last week or since then. Most women gain a few lbs of water during that then drop it just as quickly.

wre you eating a lot of fiber this week? it's something we really dont pay much attention to, but it accounts for a lot..eating a bowl of all-bran sometime durring the day will help you keep your weight from fluctuating wildly.

Yep, there are a thousand reasons why you still lost weight. But, like you mentioned, I would just take it and be happy, nevermind the reason!! :)
