Bad week for me. Didn't work out at all, other than some long walks and going in the pool - nothing strenuous.
DF lost his job to corporate downsizing, which sucks, but since he's under contract they still have to pay him for the next 7 months, which is very lucky. Thing is we really don't know what we are going to do now...lots of possibilities. I think I'm going to apply to grad school and go for my MS in food science and nutrition - This forum, along with a general obsession regarding food, has convinced me that I want to be a dietician! Anyway, a lot of stuff is up in the air- we are probably going to move somewhere where we don't have to pay rent (like a parents house) and do some travelling. The wedding is this summer - hopefully by then I'll be accepted into grad school, we'll figure out where to move, DF finds another job, yadda yadda. Food this week was mostly power bars and slimfast shakes at work, some yogurt, some other stuff, I really didn't pay too much attention. I made chocolate cookies today. In good news, I'm back to my ticker weight. |
Man what a week for me.
Just an emotional rollercoaster. :S I went on a pub crawl last night. I know, not very diet friendly, but it's been in the plans for a few weeks so I was prepared. And despite that I think tomorrow will be a pretty good weigh in. :) Or at least measurements. Today was a nice chill day. My roomie and I had our friends over and we just chilled and studied. It helps that they're a pair of super cute twins. ;) So fingers crossed I don't have a gain on the scale. And hopefully some inches have come off. I took a peek measurement tonight and a little came off I think, but we'll see in the morning. :) Good luck to everyone on the rest of your weekend. |
I just wanted to check in. I did really well dieting the last two days eventhough I had a lot of challanges. First yesterday I went out to lunch but I got a southwest style salad and didnt use any of the dressing that came with. It wasn't the healthest thing on the menu but still a good choice. Then I had a lean cuisine for dinner, and a couple of pretzels and some popcorn as snacks. I wanted to go off the deep end but had control.
Then today I had the chance to have again go off the deep end. My roommates parents were bring us over dinner becuase she is running in a marthon tomorrow. They insisted I join them in there pasta dinner so they send me the menu for where we were eating. I looked it over and after almost getting really bad things for me I decided on a low fat lasanga, I don't know the nutrition but given the menu it was the best choice. I also made a resolution today, next year, one year from tomorrow I want to run in the Detroit Marahon, I'm only planning on doing a half marathon but I think a training goal like that is what I need to do now to get my workout back up. So watch for updates about that. |

I'm so excited. I'm down 1.6 pounds this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes. :D Who'd have thought????? I left my ticker at 148 instead of 147.8 since it always rounds down to the last number before the decimal. I can't believe it you guys!!! I'm almost at 146! :D :dizzy: rememberhowtosmile - Awesome. Good choices on a whole. It always feels nice when you follow through on eating healthy goals. |
