In January it got to the point where I couldn't do my trousers up (AT ALL!) so taking that to be that I was a size larger than those trousers I was a UK size 26 in trousers (although in the past I have worn UK size 28/30 (US size 32/34?) despite being the same weight as january?) - anyway uk size 26 (US size 30?)

Ideally I'd like to be a size 10/12 (which is US size 14/16?) which I think would suit me (although getting even near there will let me assess closer to the time)

I've lost half my weight but I've not dropped many sizes - wearing 20/22 uk size (24/26 US?)

sizes

Right now I wear a size 24 or 26 pants/jeans

and size 22/24 or 26/28 tops it depends on the brand. Some of the clothes I have have started to get looser since losing a few lbs. I dont have that awful sore red line around my waist at night anymore!

I would love to wear a size 8 but I would definately be fine with being able to just shop outside of "plus" sizes" that would be awsome even a 14 would be ok at this point!

I remember at 215lbs when i was 18 I wore a size 16/18 and I felt huge haha and now I would love to be at that size!

The last time I remember shopping in regular stores was when I was going into 7th grade I wore a size 12/14 and I felt huge then too...I was around 155lbs then and 5'2". a

My splurge item when I get to goal will be a new outfit from abercrombie and fitch or the gap. I cant shop there right now.

I mostly get my clothes at Lane Bryant and Old Navy (last time I went they had already started to phase out the plus size section) and Ebay I get Tommy Hilfiger plus size items.

I want to be able to shop at American Eagle, A&F, The Gap, and shop on all the racks at TJ Maxx not just the one or two designated for plus sizes. :^:

I wear a 20/22 depending on the brand. I would like to get into a single digit size but I'll be happy with a size 8-10. Or a 12. As you can see, I'm indecisive. But I guess it will depend on when I reach a comfortable weight. At first I thought a size 6, but my husband said he thinks that's too small for me (and him)hahaha. I would like to see myself in a size 6 since I can't ever remember me being that size. But there's a first time for everthing. I've bought a size 10 and size 14 skirt as an incentive for losing weight. I hope it works, so far so good.:cb:

Right now I wear a 15/14 size L shirts. At my biggest I'd say I was a 18/16. I would like to go down to a 8/9. I have wide hips and small at the top I doubt I can get into a size 6. I am very pleased to share that I wore my 15 jeans today and where loose fitting. YAY!:carrot:

My jeans are all size 16 and I am at 194. I can say that they are loose enough for me to just slide them off so I suppose I can probably fit in a 15 or 14. I just don't have any! I did try on my AE shorts yesterday and they do fit.. They are tight but they fit and they are a 14. I hope to be back in a 9/10. I remember when...

Well let's see....my size really hasn't fluctuated too much since high school. In junior's stuff, my biggest is a 13/14. I still have some items like that in my closet, but I currently wear a 12 pretty steadily. I have a few 10s that fit as well.

I'm curvy (always have been) so it makes sizing tough. My waist isn't that big, but I have a bit of a booty, broad shoulders and I'm a 38D. This makes dress shopping a LOT of fun. *lol*

I'd like to get to a firm 10. If I got down to an 8, I think I'd be an uber-sexy girl, but I'm not sure if that's realistic since I have to eat out so much for work. But ya never know!

Well, right now depending on the brand I can wear anything from 18 up to 24. ugh. I would be happy if I could get down to anything below 14 right now. I've sure once I'm actually in a size 14 though, I will want a smaller size. =P

Isn't that the way it always goes?

about 4 yrs ago when i graduated high school I was a size 9-11 and shopped in the juniors department.. I looked great, felt great, and I was 135 pounds.. my size always seemed a little high for my weight but i think its because my problem has always been a bigger waist, stomach, love handles, with a flat butt and thinner legs/thighs. although the thighs are catching up :( now that im 190+ ive moved on to misses and im a size 16... pushing 18 which will force me into the "plus" size section .. im not there yet, but ever so close :( :(

i would be happy in a 13 or a 14 i currently wear a 16 but its starting to slide off my butt. i hope i still have my size 14s i dont want to break a new pair in.

When I started this round of dieting my 12's were getting snug... this was at around 160. Having lost about 6 lbs my 12's are all comfy and all of my 10's (as well as my lone 8 a-line dress) fit. I would love to be a 4-6. I think that's feasible for my height and frame.
I'm truly amazed at the difference in sizes between similar weights. This is a really cool thread!

isthatreallyme 07-10-2007 09:22 AM

My goal is to be about a size 8-10, and I am currently a size 18 (I think as far as weight distribution goes, I must have hit it lucky)

CecelliaStrick9 07-10-2007 05:20 PM

ive never been small. ever. and size fluctuates depending on brand. i have pant sizes from 13-17..target pants run small, tilt jeans run bigger.. i think my average pant size is 14. i have an odd build. im built like a linebacker, literally. my measurements are 42-43-42. yep. straight up and down me. which makes buying pants that fit correctly almost impossible. i also have DD breasts, which makes for even more fun.

thats why im going to start my own clothing line. :)
