Default Having a whinge

I'm having a moment of self pity!

I don't know why I insist on jumping on the scales all the time all it does is do my head in (I've a limit of once a day lol)

I'm eating an average of 1400-1500 calories a day, burning on average 600-700 calories a day (lows of 300 to peaks of 1300 burnt a day) and that damn scale says I've gained weight!

A few days ago I was 63kgs, now i'm 64.5. Bah.

Now the rational part of my mind kicks in and I realise I did a **** of a lot of hard exercise on the weekend, drank a tonne of water and have had several salty dinners - plus my clothes are looser.

But oh...seeing that number go up just really gets my day off to a *wonderful* start. Meh!

Okay, moment over :P

Girl, we're on the same page.

I look back and want to kick this version of me today for getting bent out of shape over a few pounds, but maintaining is h.a.r.d.

I fell your pain. But look at it this way: you are taking tremendous care of yourself, regardless!

I totally know what you mean!!! I'll admit I was no angel over the mother's day weekend, but then on Tuesday it said I lost half a pound (I was very healthy) and then on Wednesday I gained 2 pounds (still says I gained those 2 pounds this morning). I understand if weight stays the same but if I am being so healthy why does it have to keep going up???

Weight loss is such a weird thing.. everyone says, eat less, exercise more and you will lose weight. I exercised like crazy and ate healthy.. I'm talking going to spin classes at 6am and getting off the train station at a stop earlier and walking 2 miles home.. I lost a whopping 1.5 lbs in those 4 weeks! Eventually I had to cut out a lot of carbohydrates to make my weight loss more normal, but anyway, I keep reminding myself that exercising has other benefits other than weight loss, but why does it have to be so hard to lose? :P
