ho do you calculate weight loss percentage?? Anyone know? Thanks
No promises on my math skills, but I think this is how you do it.
You divide your amount of weight lost by your starting weight and then multiply that by 10. So for example. You've lost 22 lbs / 186 (your start weight) = 0.118 x 10 = 11.8% of weight lost.
I think this is right. If it's not let me know.

So are you looking for the percentage of weight you have lost in terms of your start weight? If so then the above poster is correct (with one small typo in the formula)
it should read: 22 lbs / 186 (your start weight) = 0.118 x 100 = 11.8%
Or are you looking for the percentage of weight you have lost compared to the total amount you need to lose?
In that case it is : 22lbs (amount you have already lost ) / 56 (amount you want to lose, 186-130) = 0.39 x 100 = 39% ...so you are 39% of the way to goal!
let us know if this doesn't make sense...
