Sorry to hear about your troubles, my brother is living in High Prairie and is trying to find a place of his own (he's currently renting a room in a house for $900 a month!!!). Housing and everything is priced wickedly out there, a $300,000 house is like a little shack compared to what it would get you here in New Brunswick. I completely understand where you are coming from though, I am a full time student and the government apparenlty thinks that I can live off of $12,000 a year to cover all my expenses such as books, tuition, housing, food etc. It sucks, and they wonder why there are so many people in or below the poverty level.
