Hey,
Cottage!
Good for you for going to Curves anyway!
I'll have some Pumpkin Spice tea waiting...
You amaze me with all that you do in a day! It's like raising kids twice!
Have a great day and enjoy the quiet time while the girls are in dance class!
Wow,
Thin! That's an exciting job! Are you at LAX? I don't know if the Mexican restaurant (the one that makes its own tortillas) is still there, but they have excellent food...and I used to love their horchata!
Hope you have a fun and exciting day. :congrats: on the 3 lbs! At this rate, you WILL be thin by June!
Hey,
ThinAgain!
as we haven't "met" yet. I'm sure the other Beachies filled you in on how important it is that you move into Phase 2 at the end of 2 weeks. Staying on it longer not only is unhealthy, but it
can lead to weight gain! That might be the reason for the pound...we all know you
didn't consume an extra 3,500 calories yesterday!
It could be water, too...or maybe the scale gods knew that if you weighed less today you'd splurge more tomorrow and they want to counteract that. Don't lose your momentum for a holiday that comes around every year. Enjoy being with your friends and family and add in something special for Phase 2, like some berries over SF cheesecake-flavor pudding, a WW small roll, or a pumpkin-y dessert. Let me ask one of the other mods if I can share her "pumpkin cake" recipe--it serves two (in two individual ramekins) and is delish!
You can do this!
Ruthie, it cracks me up that you decide to fly for a visit on the most harried day of flying in the US...even though you're not celebrating Thanksgiving!
I hope you guys don't suffer any delays or anything because of our busy skies. Have an amazing visit and relax!
Did you finish the wall hanging in time or will you be basting at your friend's? There's something soothing about hand-sewing, though...
We'll miss you and we'll
try to behave.
Cat, if I could be an extra guest at someone's feast, I'd probably pick yours!
I'm sure it'll be amazing, and even though I'm sorry you got up so early, I'm happy you have the day off. Enjoy it!
Oh,
LC, that's a great one!!!
I'm so sorry you are sick!
When you're sick, hon, just focus on trying to get nutrients into yourself--don't stress about the plan. Even Dr. A said that in a Daily Digest a while ago. (although I'm really thrilled at the number of SF medicines that are coming out on the market!
) I had a couple of little clementines over the last couple days and they made me feel SO much better.
I hope you are on the mend soon.
Me:
Well, I still haven't kicked my silly sinus infection, though I do think I'm on the mend...but now DH is sick too! Poor guy.
I hope we can both still enjoy our visit to my in-laws. MIL got a new little dog earlier this year and I can't wait to meet her! The other two dogs are so HUGE that I've never gotten too friendly with them...even though they are very sweet. I think I'm more the little dog type. Sadly, this will be our first visit to my in-laws without our dog (who passed away last spring) in over three years.
We're both going to feel it, I fear.
It'll probably be a slow day at work today--the students tend to stay home during breaks. I'm hoping to use the extra time to catch up on my Christmas shopping--online!
I just love buying things on Amazon...so easy and inexpensive and there's such a selection! I just have to remember to use our chicky link!
Hope all our US chickies have an amazing holiday
and our Canadian chickies have a great weekend!
