I wasn't sure what forum to post this in but this seemed the most appropriate. I've never had trouble with my knees before, even when I was still doing ballet, yoga and belly dancing. Then, out of the blue, the other night we went on a bicycle ride and my right knee started clicking with every rotation of the pedal. Since then, it has started doing it when I bend my knee even just to cross my legs! I wouldn't say it's painful but it is uncomfortable and laying in bed last night, it was throbbing a bit.
I am planning on going to see the doctor this week but just wondered if anyone has any clue as to what it could be?
It didn't feel like I had sustained an injury at the time it started clicking (which was pretty much as soon as I got on the bike!). My biggest form of exercise is walking so thankfully it hasn't progressed to the point of affecting that!
