Default champagne grapes

I just had to tell you about these cute little grapes I purchased at Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck- haha ). They are called champagne grapes. They are tiny tiny little red grapes that are about the size of a raisen or smaller. They are super sweet and bursting w/ flavor. If you find them pick them up. I'm hiding them in the back of the fridge away from the kids. I also love frozen grapes, as it really brings out the sweetness (that's what I do sometimes when I make a berry based wine), so I am stashing some in the freezer.

Jackpot! I just found these at Pathmark the other day. They came in a 1 pound container for $1.50. I only bought one so I wouldn't waste anymore food!!! At first, I thought it said Cranberry Grapes. Upon closer inspection, I almost squealed with delight, because they were in fact Champagne Grapes!

My kids LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEE them! They are small and fun to eat and oh so cute or 'so beautiful' as my 5yo said!

Do people put these in champagne glasses? I can see how festive and fun these could be to entertain with!

Thanks for the great find!

How long do they keep in the freezer? If they last a while, I may buy more now and freeze them, since I don't know how much longer they'll be at the market. I don't ever recall seeing them before!
