Smile Food for the day....

Hello,

This is my first day of induction and below is what I have eaten so far....

Breakfast: Omelet with 1 slice of ham, green peppers, mushrooms

Lunch: Salad with tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers, mushrooms, real bacon bits, cheese / salad dressing was Ranch with Bacon (1 carb per Tbsp)

Dinner: Steak and turnip (I usually cook my turnip with sugar but today I used Sugar Twin)

Took a multivitamin, omega 3-6-9 oil pills, psyllim husk fiber pills and drank 8 glasses of water.

Does this sound ok for the first day, what if anything should I have not eaten?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the bottle of Ranch for any hidden sugar? The only Ranch dressing I have ever found that doesn't have sugar is the packet you buy and mix with mayo and cream (don't use milk - high carbs but heavy cream thinned with a little water works perfect) You can add bacon to it for the same effect, or something else like chipotle peppers (which is my favorite way to make it). But most of those dressing have some hidden sugars. Don't just go by the nutritional chart on the back, also read the ingredient within. You'd be surprised what's in there.

GOOD LUCK!!!
