I posted a profile, but here is a bit about me:
My name is Melissa, I'm 20 years old, and I have 166 pounds to lose until I reach my goal. I was looking for a buddy to help me get started..any takers? Welcome, Melissa! I've still got about 120 pounds to lose (and I've already lost 40), so I SO know where you're coming from! I'm 23, and if you need a buddy, I'd love to get to know you. I don't use MSN Messenger, but I am on AIM almost all day, every day at work. I'm currently tracking calories and doing a little exercise here and there (usually only about 30 minutes, 3 times a week). This is a great group of helpful, supportive people, so don't be afraid to ask anything that pops into your head!
Welcome. I count calories also. I am like Dawnyal and mainly just hang out here for support. There are a lot of great people that come to the boards so feel free to post your success and struggles. I look forward to seeing you around.

I too am fairly new to this site and the weight loss deal. I'm watching what I eat and exercising as often as I can. It's been a little tough dealing with the hunger, but the end reward is more important and worth it. I wish you well, you can do it!
