I used to be in the Midwest... grew up there... and yes it is HOT. That's one of the reasons I live in Seattle. But I do enjoy going back to visit family and old friends now and then.

I only have 60lb to lose but it feels like 100 because I have been at this weight for 20 yr. I have 10 kids and take prednisone and get quite discouraged over losing weight. I wish there were a place to read peoples stories besides Goal. There are about 9 stories there but I notice by the tickers that a lot of people have lost a lot of weight!
