Aimee, I really like your new picture - it almosts looks like a different person..
I only ask, to get a feel for the difference in sizes between you and your friend. Becuz I had a friend, who was only a tad smaller than me, but talked like she was way way smaller, even almost the perfect size (which she was still a size 16 and I was a 18)..........So don't get too offended by your friend-it happens.

Thanks! I tend to look different in every single picture I take.. dunno how that happens really! I have another friend who thinks shes smaller than me, when in reality she might squeeze herself into a smaller size.. but man, it's TIGHT! People are too funny.. size denial not always a good thing. Perhaps I'm friend picky? heh...

I guess the next time she asks "do I look fat in these jeans?" you could always say I thought you were fat. j/k Maybe the next time she says I feel fat give her a dose of her own medicine and tell her you're not sure how to respond to that.

Aimee, tell her: make me feel better, girl! I think it's like a couple of people have said, I think she meant well.

My mom told me I may not get in because I am fat. That just blew me away because it was so unnecessary and so untrue. It really bugged me a lot for a while but then I thought about it and figured it was just her own stuff and I don't have to take that on unless I want to.

I think you've pegged that, doesn't make it any more fun to have to hear from your mom, but I think she does feel it a lot more for herself. Good luck with the program!

I did say something to her... once.. heh.. she said to me "oh aimeeeeee I think that I'm SO fat", and I said "I know". She freaked, but I only meant that I know that she thinks that she's fat. I may try the whole "make me feel better" comment Marge... good one!
