Talking What's Your Favorite Health or Weigh Loss Magazine

What are your favorite magazines that focuses on health or weight loss?

Me, I LOVE Women's Health and Looking Good Now.
Women's Health usually has great articles on how to improve your work outs. This month they have an article about getting a good workout when you don't have alot of time; there are examples for a 1 minute, 10 minute, 20 minute, 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute workouts! Last month they had a great article about finding the perfect running shoe for your foot type. Have tasty, nutricious recipes too. Plus I love the fact that the models they have are very athletic and strong looking. Very cool.

Looking Good Now is my fav for inspirational before and after pictures and weight loss stories. Plus it's only $1.99 at Walmart. Good recipes too, his month they have some great low-fat recipes, including 2 for chocolate cake. WOO HOO!

I love PREVENTION magazine. it doesnt focus on being really thin, but on being healthy. and not just be losing weight, but it has articles about other things like cancer, heart disease etc, and how to recognize warning signs etc. and they always have some recipes and some exercise tips. just a great magazine. i find that if i look at some of the other "fitness" magazines, i get a bit depressed about how thin the models are. but with prevention, i dont, cause they use real people in it!
I'm interested to too at Looking GOod Now, i love the before and after pics too. So inspiration. Maybe I'll have before and after pics on day!!!

There used to be a great magazine I think it was called Women's Sport and Fitness or something like that. It was kind of a cross between Shape and Women's Muscle and Fitness but it didn't have too many makeup and fashion articles like Shape does or supplement ads like M&F. Sadly it went under and since then I've not found a magazine that I really like.

I kind of like Mens Health. I don't know if it's men trying to be macho or if it's women that do the magazine and don't know what men really want. It tends to be a little too much sometimes. Maybe it's just me. Maybe some men really do want just that type of magazine. To be truthful I like what the womens magazines tend to focus on more than the mens. There is no good fit for me. I would like a mens magazine with mens issues but focus on more than just sex and a six pack. They don't make it any more but I really enjoyed a magazine called Walking.

I love Looking Good Now! I can't seem to get enough of success stories and before and after pics, they're all so inspiring and encouraging. It's such a comfort to know that real people are doing this every day and finding success. There's no greater motivator IMO.

I like Shape & Fitness.

My biggest gripe about Shape is: With their weight loss diary, they never pick someone w/more than 100 pounds to lose. It's always someone w/only 40 pounds to lose who I can't relate to.

I also like Your Diet & Looking Good, when I can find them.

I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE Successful Slimming. It was put out by the same ppl that make the tabloids, in Florida. Real people, real weight loss, and recipes, too! And fashion articles. ANd a column about herbal remedies for things. I miss it.
