Default March NSVs

Okay so TOM is hitting pretty hot and heavy these past couple of days. I was so wanting some chocolate yesterday and had 4 opportunities to buy me some and I sidestepped every bit of it. I even had to walk by all the chocolate bars at the checkouts and still didn't purchase one. I did go over my alloted calories for the day (just over 100) but I lowered them on Tuesday by 100 so I'm still adjusting to it.

Also I can easily wear size 20 jeans if they are made with the stretch denim and 22s fit me with no problem. I lost over 6 inches last month too.

You are on SUCH a roll, Dawnyal! I can see such a change in the way you're going about this from even just a couple months ago. It's truly awesome!

Can't wait to see your next round of progress pics .

I had my TOM this week too and I ATE THE CHOCOLATE!

Next time I'm going to come to the board and come looking for you to slap that stuff out of my hand!

Six inches is GREAT! Thanks for sharing this and inspiring me to do better!

Shelly - where have you been lately? Congrats on those 9.8 pounds I usually have my boyfriend tell me the number on the scale because I'm always paranoid about it going up.. but he still won't weigh in front of me very often.

thanks guys. i've been away. having a REALLY hard time lately. i've gained some major pounds back. i'm not giving up though! i can see how you would gain 10 pounds in 4 days if you were constantly stuffing yourself but i've hardly eaten the last few days because i've been sick but i've still gained 10 pounds? GRRRRR!!! i'm blaming it on tom since it will be here in a week or so. anyway. its nice to be back and posting.

congrats on everyone's nsv's!!

My NSV: Last night I overate. I had two small bowls of brown rice, topped with peas in tomato sauce and yogurt, some nuts, and some whole grain cereal. I was feeling really bad, but then when I thought about how I used to binge! I feel I've made a lot of progress.

That's great, Darlene! Isn't it funny how your perspective changes. I too sometimes feel guilty when I overeat, but it does help to think how far we've come. A binge for me used to be a pint of Ben & Jerry's (yes, the whole freakin' thing) and a bag of chips. Brown rice and some whole grain cereal is much better!!!!!

Congrats & keep up the good work!

I read you on this Gipsydancer. I have a friend who’s totally Bio-Vegetarian – granola. A few days ago she told me about all the restrictions she is applying to her diet: No red meat, only whole grain bread, specific fruits to be avoided for desert, Bio-Pasta, unsalted soup…

.I found this quite complicated to follow I could write a novel with all the “do” and “don’t do”

Furthermore, Bio groceries store are quite expensive

I respect her approach; but I replied by saying that for me, going to Subway instead of KFC is a giant step….and it works.
