Some recent NSVs for me are...
1) Putting one of my favorite jeans into the "give away" pile (*sniff*), they used to be really tight on me. 2) Wearing a pair of jeans I couldn't fit over my butt a few months ago and them being actually a little loose! 3) Buying a pair of XL exercise pants and them fitting along with buying an XL hoodie for wearing to the gym on colder days 4) Doing 25 minutes on the elliptical 5) Doing lots of jumping jacks and other high intensity cardio activities during an exercise class (this one happened today and made me so happy) That is all I can think of for now |
I have some small victories, not as great as the rest of you , but im geting there.
1): was looking over my exercise calender and I have walked the equivalent of 11.5 miles, which is alot for me, since before, I didnt move around at all! 2): I still have fat everywhere else, but my leg muscles are rock hard,..whoohoo! Its just a matter of time before I get muscles other places too. 3): This weekend, when hubby and I were setting up my candle booth, he made a comment, that I didnt have to sit down as much and he thought my endurance was much better! Of course i had terrible headache and chest pains and after we got home, i ate a low fat subway sandwich and felt much better. I think the greasy fries at the fall festival actually upset my body, which just blows my mind! 4): I'm not sure yet, but I think my face is actually getting thinner, seems like I can feel more "bones" in my face, but it may just be me, being optimistic,.. 5): I asked mom my to get me a cold bottle of water at the fall festival, since she was going for soda. She looks at me like I am crazy and says " you sure you dont want a soda?" and i said happily,"nope, get me water!" I have had no soda since aug 11:-) I only miss it once in a blue moon, but for the most part, I dont miss it. Yay for us!!! |
yesterday i noticed the beginning of teeny tiny baby lumps forming on my biceps!!!! i think i'm starting to get muscles!!!!

I was going to be late for an important meeting today......I ran twice to make the trains I needed to catch.........and didn't get out of breath.......that felt so great!
