  • A site that has ALL kinds of workouts is turnstep.com. Fitness instructors go in and post exercises that they have used in classes - a lot are very challenging, a lot are just plain fun. I have used many of them in my classes. They are broken out in a variety of areas such as ab exercises, step, resist-a-ball, sculpting, aqua, etc. Some really great stuff.
  • Chris, thanks for that great tip!!
  • Thanks Chris! Great site
  • Quote: I opened this thread b/c it's my initials.

And ohhhh the irony that my initials are also my worst body part is not lost on me. Oh no.

    What I do is this:

Lay on back, legs extended in the air. Arms up over chest, hands bent in. I do 15 of those, S-L-O-W-L-Y.

I do another 15 with my knees bent & my ankles crossed--those are HARD!!!
Ok, that first part is wrong.

Feet flat on the floor, knees bent, lying on my back. Arms extended up in the air, hands bent in, towards each other, like handles on a door. Then I lift up, slowly, counting to 4. My trainer had me do these when she saw I was doing 100 crunches every other day. These are working me smarter, not harder. I can only do 15 at a time.

The other ones, you hold your hands the same way, but you extend your legs up from the floor, then cross them at your knees. THESE ARE VERY HARD!!! But so worth it.
  • SAPF, thanks! They do sound hard, but I'm really excited to try them at the gym tonight. I reallyh think anything beats crunches at this point
