I was just wondering if you've posted any new progress pics. I see your avatar pic and think there is no way you weigh over 170. Just by your shoulders and face I would guess you to be in the 130s-140s at least.
You look great Gretchen! How tall are you btw? I haven't had one single picture taken of me since I started losing weight so all I have is "before" pictures and I'm trying to visualize myself realistically (I feel like I look the same, but am pretty sure I don't look like a 250 lb. woman anymore!). I guess I'm just a bit afraid to really see what I look like in photos - those things are so harsh sometimes.
Gretchen -- those pictures are fantastic!! It's so great you and Jeremy have that chronicle of your loss, and what an incredibly cute couple you guys are! I'm so happy for you! (And that white dress suit looks completely fabu, by the way.....you work that glamorous thang very nicely! )
Thanks you guys! *blushing* I have lost about 10 more pounds since the last pictures were taken. I try and to pics in 10 lb loss intervals. Its cool to see the difference even 10 lbs makes!
Jenicra- I am 5-4.5 so I am still way overweight!!
Sarah- You're the BEST! Too bad we don't live in the same area, I know we'd be great friends!
Ok so where are the pics of all you guys???? C'mon now.. give 'em up!!
Gretchen - WOW!! You look great!! I really like the way you have it set up. Really shows your success!!! And how cool that you and hubby are doing it together!!!
Gretchen, I've thought the same thing! I speak so highly of you to my partner she asks how you're doing - by name - and calls you my girlfriend! As in, "That Gretchen. She's something else. You must be really proud of your girlfriend." It makes me laugh.....hopefully you too! (I'm sure your husband would find it just hilarious........ ) Seriously, we are definitely sympatico weight-loss buds.
Sarah-- Absolutely!! I totally agree!! And that does make me crack a big smile. Your partner... shes a lucky gal!
Isn't it so funny how you just click with people even on a weightloss forum!! Its great to find people who are totally like minded. Just another POSITIVE coming out of losing weight!! Imagine that!
Well, that she is.... Actually, I think I got the better end of the deal -- she's pretty amazing -- gotta love a foul-mouthed, huge-hearted, cranky gumba from Brooklyn, don't you? Ok, maybe it's just me.
Yes, it really is terrific to see all the positives that come out of this experience. I truly find it a blessing, and count my lucky stars. I just love the silver lining, don't you?
You look great. I ditto that's is super you and Jeremy are doing this together. I'll post my pics next week (I'm hoping for a 3 pound loss so I'll get to take new pics). I'm taking mine at every 10 pounds now then I'll take them when I reach the 25 pound milestones (250, 225, 200, 175, etc).

Go to http://www.myvirtualmodel.com/ and build a virtual model of yourself. I did this. I build one of my present size, and then at different goal weight losses all the way down to where I'd like to be. It's a real eye-opener and very motivating.
