Help with SALT/ Sodium

  • Good for you, Gretchen! I'm proud of you! That's definitely progress. What are your thoughts about it? Difficult adjustment? Satisfied with your progress thus far or considering the next anti-sodium level?

  • Congrats on knocking out the salt shaker, it is very tough to do!
  • I've only used it once in the last week. I made mixed veggies from a can last night without any butter or salt on them. I was so tempted to salt them but decided I would chew really slow and get to know the veggies again.
  • Fortunately my mom was not heavy with the salt shaker when I was growing up. Unfortunately, she was with frying everything. I wish I had some advice for you Gretchen. All I can offer is encouragement. I know that you can conquer the salt addiction. Just go about it slowly and before no time you will have it beat.
  • I am doing OK. last night I didn't use any salt on anything but the other night, I had corn on the cob with spray butter and couldn't resist. Luckily I am not that wishy-washey with my weight loss or I'd be in some real trouble. I know, I am going to be in some real trouble with the sodium too. I know I've got to stop totally,
