I took your advice and I made mini goals. This way to reach a mini/half way goal.
Mini Goals 2 pounds a week 6 Weeks By sept 7th I could lose 12 pds down to 215 pounds 7 more weeks to oct 26th 26 pounds down to 201 pounds 4 more Weeks to Thanksgiving 34 pounds down to 193 pounds 4 more weeks to Yule 42 pounds down to 185 pounds If this works out I will be only 40 pounds from my goal weight of 145. That means by next Summer I might be in bathing suit weather shape. But this will require toning exercises. So my majority exercises will be toning not cardio. Anyone else want to do this with me Please contact me and add me as a friend. We can support each other. |
Davisag: Nice! Looks like you have some great goals there! It is fun to think about being in onederland before the end of the year. That's where I would like to be, but it has been slow going!
I did make it to 229.6 this morning. Now comes the work to hold on to it until Monday's weigh in. I'd like to get down a few pounds so that I don't creep back up into the 230's. But, I was happy to see a different number at least. The 230's love me. I was looking at the 2 teens to onederland group. I hope to get there soon, but on the other hand, it is a really quiet group. I guess we need to all get there and liven things up!! |
Fabulous Slashnl!!!

Have a good weekend everyone!

Am nearing entry into 220's, with only just over a pound to lose to get there. Meanwhile NSV of being able to button a jean jacket that I have worn open for the past four years. I feel like (in a good way though) the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz..."I'm melting".
Good luck to all and next post is going to be in the 220's, where I have not been in so long I cannot even recall... |
Holding on to the 220's today. Barely. Hoping to still be here for tomorrow's official weigh in.
|
Hello everyone! Just made it to 239.0 today. Hoping to be well out of the 230s by the end of the month, so I'm gonna try my best!
|
PinkStarBerry: Welcome!!! Hope you speed through the 230's! They were not kind to me.
For me, I finally made it to the 220's on an official weigh in day. I hope to take this week to get some space between me and the 230's. Ha! |
Hi all...sorry for not checking in. Still holding strong between 233-236. Fluctuating quite a bit. My treadmill bit the dust, and that was my daily form of activity. Walking outside is great, however with little ones, I can't maintain a good pace as everyone gets distracted. (Let's stop and pick flowers...oh! Blackberries, can we pick some? Can we stop and go down the slide at the park?) it's just so much easier, and I can remain focused while everyone is still sleeping. I really need to up my water, too.
|
Sassypants: Sorry to hear about the treadmill. That makes it tough, when you have kids!!
For me, I've dropped a little more since Monday's weigh in, looking at 228 today. Hope to keep the trend going. |
Hi All,
I have been negligent about posting during July - I was embarrassed to admit that I just stopped caring for a while. I was eating all sorts of bad stuff like cheesecake and cookies and bread - ugh on the bread... So now I am paying the consequences with a nasty Rheumatoid arthritis flare up. 7 days of steroids finished today. I'm sort of back in gear with the diet - I have to prepare food so I have protein and veggies handy. Weigh in day is Mondays for me. I was pretty stoked about what I saw - but have to wonder if the loss was attributed to the steroids so I will wait to see if the drop sticks this coming Monday. How is everyone here? Slash - great on breaking out of the 230s! You must be excited! |
Time to get that exercise as part of my daily routine. I am only losing a pound a week, and its getting harder to do. at 225. Slashnl: Great job at 228. :) It is just getting my butt out of the bed and doing something. if I do warm ups in the morning that can help a little. |
Kat: Glad to see you again! I thought I read somewhere that you are close to moving out of this group and below 220. That would be cool. I am really glad to be out of the 230's, but I so much want to go back below 220. I'll try to catch up to you!
Davisag: I workout in the morning and I think that if you can get it to be a routine, then you don't have to fight for is so much. I still have times when I don't want to go, but for the most part, I just get up and go. Good luck!! For me, I went running last night and body pump this morning. For now, things seem to be going fairly well. I don't want to jinx it though!! It is so easy for me to slip!! |
