My Pals the bouncing is hard. We all go through it. I really is hard to hand when it happens a few times. But remember we can do it a pound at a time.

Well, I made it down below 230 today. Just barely, but at least saw the number. Monday is my official weigh in, so I won't be changing anything just yet. I hope I can make my mini-goal and be down to 228 by Monday. I want to be low enough that I don't bounce back up in the 230's.

Went running yesterday, and that was good. But, my food choices weren't stellar yesterday, so need to do better today.

out of the 240's

I am excited about my success so far in just 2wks 12lbs a little concerned however my coach stated yesterday that after 2wks in the program weightloss can slow down. has anybody had this experience? what have you done to speed things up? what are you eating that is keeping the loss going? I am definately going to stick with it I have tried every other diet out there and have never had this kind of success so fast I just don't want to lose momentum if the weightloss slows.

:dizzy:

also how do I add the bar that shows my weightloss success thus far?

LisaLaLa 07-26-2016 08:08 PM

Hi Neika79,
Yes, the loss can slow down but much depends on what program you are doing. And you have to be on the site for a certain number of days and have something like 20 posts before you can add the bar, you can get info if you search the site for "weight tracker".
I am still in the 230's but a nice 2.8 pound loss this week and am now setting mini-goals of 5 pound increments, so my next goal is to get under 230. NSV included a total of 13 inches lost since I started Ideal Protein on June 16th.
My initial goal is 195, but my final goal is closer to 155, which is why I am following this 100-lb-club thread. The posts are all so very helpful and encouraging, it is great to read about everyone's journey.
All the best to everyone,
Lisa

Good Going!!! :carrot::carrot: That was a good mini and you got another mini to go by next weigh in. Mine is 2 a week too. My weight in is tomorrow. :o:o You'll do great we are both going with the same weight and can be there for each other.

neika79: Welcome! Happy to hear of your success! I also agree that your progress will probably be slower going forward. The first couple of weeks usually mean a lot of water loss along with fat loss. But, just keep going! 1-2 pounds per week is considered a healthy rate of loss.

Davisag: Gotta keep setting little goals because my overall goal is too far away! Ha! Good luck with your weigh in!!!

For me, I stayed the same on weight this morning. That's ok. I had some good workouts yesterday and I'm planning to run after work today. I just need to focus on keeping my food plan on track!!

Slashnl: hear what your saying on the minigoals and why. I guess in my head Ihave minigoals. Just not up front.

Weigh in 227. Lost 4 pounds 6 so far. We are both on the same level. So glad to have a buddy that Understands.

Davisag: Wow! Nice loss!! Way to go!

Not much new here. I went running last night, and it was kind of a struggle. So, I didn't go to Body Pump this morning. I felt like I needed a little break.

I saw a great quote today that I wrote down and am going to make my mantra:

I didn't come this far to only come this far.

I've lost 60 lbs (some days more, some days less), and that is one heck of an achievement! But truly, if I can lose 60, I can lose 70, 80, 90, 100, and then some! I can't get discouraged and give up. I WON'T.

Davisag, congrats on the loss. I was so thrilled to be in the 220's.

Welcome neika! I'm glad you are here.

Everyone else, good to see you too! I am going to recommit to posting in this thread every day to help encourage others the way so many of encouraged me. We can do this!

BrandNewDay: I love that quote!!!! So true!

Davisag 08-02-2016 12:25 AM

BrandNewDAy: That is a great quote Thanks

FINALLY!! I made it!! I had really been fluctuating, but finally hit 236.2 this morning, so this is my new home thread! 47.8 gone from when I started at 284 in March!!

Slashnl 08-02-2016 12:29 PM

Welcome SassyPants! Glad you can join us while we all try to get out of this group and move down to the next group!! Ha!

I came close this morning to slipping back into the 220's, but not all the way. I need to get there and hold on to it. The 230's have not been kind!!!
