I'm currently at 72lbs off, with 28 to go to my first target. The aim is to try and maintain at that weight for a few months - maintenance is my big failure! - and then maybe go for another 20 off.
On Christmas Day I was 169.8lbs; today I am 166.5lbs - I've fiddled around, going up and down the same few pounds, so have re-committed today. So I'm aiming to lose another 8lbs by Easter (quick google to see when that is, Ah! March 27th), that's 7 weeks. I can do this!! (but it maybe helps to have pledged it in print..... )
Phew. Stuck to plan yesterday, and have dropped 2lbs weight overnight. I know it will mostly have been water I was retaining due to my crappy eating choices but still, if I hadn't tied a knot in the rope at that point, it soon would have been fat, then fatter, then fattest.
It's also Eight By Easter - I'm aiming to lose 8lbs - so if anyone would like to join me, feel free!!
I recognize that, VickieLou! You've done so well, though, and past the halfway mark, so you're doing something right!
I'm in a strictish phase at the minute, and have nothing in the house that I Could eat in a stress eating scenario (it's all raw stuff). On the other hand, I'm that way because I'm slightly in fear-of-food mode, and that ain't good either!1
