Eighty By Easter! ~ A Pledge!
 
I'm currently at 72lbs off, with 28 to go to my first target. The aim is to try and maintain at that weight for a few months - maintenance is my big failure! - and then maybe go for another 20 off.

On Christmas Day I was 169.8lbs; today I am 166.5lbs - I've fiddled around, going up and down the same few pounds, so have re-committed today. So I'm aiming to lose another 8lbs by Easter (quick google to see when that is, Ah! March 27th), that's 7 weeks. I can do this!! (but it maybe helps to have pledged it in print..... :angel: )

Phew. Stuck to plan yesterday, and have dropped 2lbs weight overnight. I know it will mostly have been water I was retaining due to my crappy eating choices but still, if I hadn't tied a knot in the rope at that point, it soon would have been fat, then fatter, then fattest.

It's also Eight By Easter - I'm aiming to lose 8lbs - so if anyone would like to join me, feel free!!

I recognize that, VickieLou! You've done so well, though, and past the halfway mark, so you're doing something right!

I'm in a strictish phase at the minute, and have nothing in the house that I Could eat in a stress eating scenario (it's all raw stuff). On the other hand, I'm that way because I'm slightly in fear-of-food mode, and that ain't good either!1 :)

It's been a bouncy old week! I regained 2lbs, lost, bounced back, but now am a bit farther - a tiny bit - into the 150s. I've also lost 1.8% bodyfat this week, which I'm pretty pleased about. :angel:

:congrat: Rosinante on losing 1.8 % body fat! I haven't been doing very well. Almost over a cold I've had since February 11th. I've been off plan but got to the gym and did weights 3x this week and a little cardio. Keep Up the Great Work!

Back and re-pledging! I had a great week in London with my Signifcant It's-Complicated, and although I put on a couple of pounds, it wasn't too bad. However, since I got back on Friday I've inhaled every carb and sugar in sight - scary how easy binging is! - so back to a hard core diet today to try and break the habit. Onwards!

I ate a piece of cake with frosting, 2 easter eggs with buttons, a couple of cookies and a few mini eggs as well as a bowl of curry and rice. Heyho. It's going to be a bit of a tough call, this 80 by Easter!!

I don't do very well on weekends. We went to a church brunch fund raiser on Sunday. If I did better on weekends I probably would be to my goal weight by now. I reached onderland on 7/29/2015. I have yet to see the 180's! :mad: Good Luck, Rosinante! I know I won't reach my Easter goal this week.

I ate far too many carbs yesterday. I've binned the granola. It's a weird feeling when the mojo goes. I think I'm going to have to go back to ultra strict, I really don't cope well with trying to eat a bit more variety in moderation. :dizzy:

I've been away all over Easter in London, and, although I've walked over 50 miles, I've eaten a lot too. No scales, so I'll weigh tomorrow, and start a new pledge. I'd originally planned to get to 100lbs off before I had a phase of seeing what I could "get away with" without losing more or gaining a lot, looks like I've had it already! Onwards and downwards from tomorrow; today there is cheesecake for tea, then my holiday ends.... :)

Rosinante You got alot of walking in London.

I had a pizza party on Saturday after bowling for the season ended. Sunday I had Easter lunch at my house. So didn't do so well. I finally got back to the gym on Monday. I didn't go last week due to winter storm. I'm ready for the next challenge.
