It's really quiet here today ...

Thanks for sharing all of your information with me/us Sunshinie :) I tried eating 3 eggs and ww toast this morning and I got two or three bites in and I was done. By the time I ate again it was 12:30ish. I ate the toast but the eggs are now gonna be another attempt for tomorrow morning. I asked for your times to try to figure out how I can space my times getting up at 1:30 or 2:30 in the morning :?: I'm gonna get it figured out hopefully. Nice weigh in there :high:

Martine, enjoy you food today. :hug: What will you eat while prepping for the colonoscopy?

Well my scale is still climbing. Maybe when I see that 180 something it will kick my buttocks in gear :shrug: 178.9 today

I need to learn that cheat meals shouldn't turn into cheat weekends. Up to 207.3. If I keep this up, I'm never going to make my goal before my trip. Bothered by my own actions right now. No news on the job front yet either...Oh and I woke up with a brutal headache...

Thanks Sunshinie & Rennie.. So far switching to LC is working out.. Never use to eat breakfast, last few days I had eggs and cheese...seems to fill me up until past lunch.

Good morning all! Despite the uptick on the scale I've decided that it's going to be a great and productive day. I'm waiting on TOM and feeling bloated and puffy but looking forward to my cup of coffee.

@bigjoe: Great job on moving the scale in the right direction :bravo: When I'm' consistent LC has been the best and most reasonable way of eating for me as well. I'm lucky that I'm an unapologetic carnivore so it fits my lifestyle very well ;)

@Kukkie84: :yes: to your comment about cheat days turning to weekends. While I'm not nearly as organized and disciplined with my WOE as you, the train kind of jumped the tracks for me this weekend as well. "Bothered by my own actions" sums it up perfectly.

@love2b150: BIG :hug: to you my friend. It's so mentally draining and disappointing to see that scale climb. The only advice I can give is to try to turn things around right now before you reach 180. As one who has drawn so many lines in the sand :o, I find it all too easy to keep moving the line. And for me I would add insult to injury by justifying it to myself: "well, at least 160 isn't 170, etc.". Now I find myself at 205, determined with everything I have not to hit 210. In fact, 210 is just not an option :nono:

I think I've been saying, "oh well" and then I keep eating and do it again and again. I get upset every time I look in the mirror at this 5-6 month preggers belly, smh. But have I got the message, nope. Sorry about the headache, did you get your dose of caffeine to help it ease up? Hope you feel better soon :hug:

Thanks Curvy :), I really do think that you are in my head sometimes. I did say that about 175 at least it's not 180 and look the scale was climbing. TOM did show up today (surprise), but that's so not good because now I will blame all of the munching on TOM coming and the bloat also. (even though it could very well be) :)

Well I am down 2.3lbs for some reason. I snacked on just about everything before I went to bed yesterday but I went bed early so maybe the extra sleep helped me :shrug:

Hey everybody!

Our mini vaca was a blast!! :dancer: Had so much fun with my grandbabies! We even took Tayla (2 months old) with us in the hotel pool. It was nice and warm and she loved it. :swim: Rylan, my 4 yr old grandson, LOVED Nickelodeon Universe! :flow2:

While I felt I did pretty good sticking to my diet, my scale said otherwise! :censored:

Friday's breakfast and lunch were on plan. The kids decided to eat a Dick's Last Resort for supper Friday. I opted for crab legs (no butter) and a salad (with my own viniagrette) and......I had a martini. :nono:My plan says no alcohol.
The menu at Dick's is written on chalkboards around the restaurant, with no descriptions, so when I asked what "Loaded greens" were, our server said a house salad. It was a salad with mixed greens, tomato, cucumber, green onion...and bacon, cheese and croutons. :nono:I picked all the croutons and most of the bacon and cheese off.

That night back at the hotel after we had the kids to sleep I also had a glass of red wine with my daughter and daughter in law. :nono:

Saturday breakfast was two eggs (though they were probably egg substitute) and strawberries. Breakfast on plan! :carrot:Then off to the zoo! No snacks for me at the zoo. Late lunch on the way home. The family picks....Old Chicago.:censored: I had the california chicken sandwich, no bun and a salad with my own dressing and water. Supper was had at home, a turkey burger, broccoli, and raspberries on plan.

So nothing too terrible over the weekend....but...But....BUT!!! The scale showed a 2 pound increase on Sunday morning.:mad: :fr: :faint: :censored: :soap: WTH????

I know I didn't drink enough water Friday and Saturday. There was a little bacon and cheese....and a martini...and a glass of wine

BUT TWO EFFING POUNDS???? GRRRRR!!

So Sunday and Monday I was spot on! Weighed every portion, drank extra water. I am still .3 pounds up from Friday morning. I know water weight, natural fluxuation, blah, blah, blah. But I really wish weight came off half as easy as it goes on!!

Green tea on the drive in to work
B ~ Atkins shake - late morning ... I wasn't hungry when I went to work
L ~ 1.5 cup hotdogs and bean mix (son made for their dinner last night)
S1 ~ probably a cup and a half of grapes
S2 ~ chocolate frozen yogurt (Sam's club)
D ~ 8 blue crabs

5 = 16.9oz bottles of water

People I did not eat any chips or junk today, aren't you proud of me ... I sure am :)

love2b150 yes be proud of not eating junk food! To answer your question, today and tomorrow I can eat eggs, dairy and white bread/pasta/rice. And Jell-o. On Thursday, it'll be a liquid diet only.

KateB don't sweat the 2 pounds, they'll be gone before you know it.

Sunshinie you will be stepping into the 220s in a matter of days, I'm excited for you!

kukkie84 I think many of us can empathize with "extending" cheat days. Stay focused, you can do this!

Doing pretty good on a LC diet...now today is my Birthday and I will have a treat later today but will stay on track. May end up with a small gain but its ok, I know what to do!

Hubby tried to fix our stove night before yesterday. One of the burners wasn't working. I think it's just a fuse, but unfortunately not an old school fuse that is simple to replace. It didn't get fixed, and in the process I think he screwed up something else with the other burners. One is heating too quick and the other one not quickly enough. Can you believe it took more than 20 minutes to boil water?! All that to say, my eating wasn't great last night because I was trying to make do. I can't help but laugh. This burner has been out for months, not sure why he suddenly decided to fix it the other night. Anyway, his friend is coming over to look at it tomorrow, and I've told him that if it doesn't get fixed, I'm calling the freaking electrician, which is what we should have done back in MAY!!!!! I can't help but laugh.

Anyway, I'm up 0.4 to 207.7. Might end up ordering out tonight, need to plan accordingly. And chug water. Must chug water.

I have a Nuwave oven and I cook my chicken, steaks, fish, burger in it.... Fast and very handy... Easy to clean

Hubby was home for a few days and we went nuts with food :( I know a lot is water weight but it sucks to start all over plus .6 lb. It's sad but I'm looking forward to him working for a week so I can get my head back in the game and not watch his constant snacking.

6th- 280.0
16th - 285.6
