Congrats Martian Man!

I am still 220 lbs. but wanted to share that I joined my local YMCA on Monday and worked out Monday and today! My goal is working out four times a week.

I'm new to 3FC and looking for a group that fits my current situation. This looks like it might be the right place. I have lost 40 pounds so far in my journey for better health and wellness. My goal is to lose 60 more. I am hovering between 233 and 235 right now. Just trying to hold my own and not gain any back. It would be great to share experiences, support, and advice with someone. I am looking forward to using this site!

I'm just moving into this thread! I was here at the beginning of the year and I got discourage because of a stall in weight loss. I just quit, like an idiot, and gained back almost 30 of my 58 lbs lost. I started back on 10/14 at 253.4 and weighed in this morning at 239.4

I have a girls weekend planned from next Thursday through next Saturday. And then I have 3 Thanksgiving dinners the next week. So, the plan is to stay at it, big time for the next week and then enjoy all the things I have planned without going overboard!

Here's to hoping I come out on top at the end of the month!

Hey all -- new to the thread! I'm just coming back to the forum after a few years away. Hit 248 and decided to get serious about losing.

I lost the first 10 pounds very quickly, but have now been plateaued at 238 for a week! Have others had a similar experience?

It's hard not to get discouraged, I've been really careful about eating and have been exercising 5 days a week...

Jenny, are you following any particular plan?

I've been up since Friday (bouncing around at about a pound and a half up). But, I'm back down to a new low....this time around.

I weighed in this morning at 238.6 and I'm hoping to drop a bit more before blowing it for the next couple of weeks! PS, I ain't leavin' this thread. Please don't make me! I can't go back! If I blow up, I'll just stay away from the thread until I can come back, with my tail between my legs.
