Easter Challenge 2014
Hey everyone,
I was thinking I'd like to do a challenge for Easter. Since I didn't see any to join, I thought I'd start my own. I'm not very tech savvy and since I only have net access on phone phone I'll chart in manually and post the results. Please include your start weight, goal weight/amount to lose and I'll make a chart the old fashioned way. Post your weight loss for the week by Saturday and I will total the pounds and post on Sundays. There are 10 weeks till Easter, lets try and lose a pant size :) Start weight for me is 225.6 and goal weight is 203.6 Come on, join me before the bunny comes. |

Weight today 213.0 I have been losing around 2 per week and probally could do 20 but... going to give a little wriggle room and shoot for Goal onderland!!!! or beyond so shooting for 15 lbs too. 198.0 |

Start weight today which is really up.... 197.2 Hoping to break into the 180's maybe 185. I am 54 and the last couple of months my weight loss has really slooooowed down.

Ainslie- I have taken the liberty of making a spreadsheet online with the intention of starting an Easter Challenge until I came across your thread. Would that be okay to share/use for this thread? I'll be glad to update it as time goes on to reflect the losses/gains/etc.

. I am starting tomorrow. Today was hubby;s birthday and calories are up by about 400. This morning though I was still at 213.0

I always set my goals too high on these challenges and get depressed when I don't make them:( I won't change my weight loss goal for this but as long as I'm in the 260s by April I will be happy :)

Here it is (the spreadsheet)- stats will not update by itself. You are welcome to update it ONLY if you know how to. Otherwise, leave it and I will update it ASAP because formulas are involved and etc. If the colors are a bit much, let me know and I will change it with no problem. So far so good with the weight but we will see what Sunday brings us. Let's get this ball rolling!!!!! PS- please ignore the numbers in the yellow column (lbs lost), it will change once you enter your first WI in Column C. |

Yep, i was able to update this type of doc for the halloween challenge . Im so excited for this. We will all be winners at the end. Lets go girls!!!

MandyLamy- I added your name, SW and GW to the spreadsheet. Wow, nice going on your first WI, Lotsakids!! You already are (a little over) halfway to your Easter goal for this challenge! I'm a little up right now, I ate a few cookies too many last night. Darn those Girl Scout cookies! On the upside, no alcohol was involved so that's a lot of calories saved right there, lol. I'll be taking it easy today-salads, veggies and a green smoothie then a small normal dinner to sort of make up for the excess from last night. |

Late to this game, but would love to join in! I'm headed to LA for vacation the week of Easter and I'm hoping this challenge motivates me to get my tush moving.
Starting today: 239.4 Easter goal: 225.0 And now that I'd said that "out loud" it's time to work for it. :) |

Ainslie- Glad things are better for you now. No worries on being slightly MIA. It happens! ;) I've been doing good on the no alcohol all week. Friday was the last time and I only had one beer! It was hard but I resisted on going bowling tonight (BF and brother play in a league) and I drink there a lot. Man, this post makes me sound like an alcoholic. I am a huge social drinker and would like to cut (wayyy) back! At this weight, it is harder to drink and still lose at the rate I like. It is better for my health overall anyway that I cut back, right? ;) This challenge totally helps to keep my butt on track! Thanks again, Ainslie, for making this challenge. For dinner tonight, I made a sort of Mexican salad with grilled pork, white beans, cilantro lemon-lime brown rice, pan-roasted corn with some lime juice, tons of lettuce, dollop of Greek yogurt and a few black olives. It was delicious! Hope you all are having a good week so far! |

I seem to be having some trouble with the spreadsheet. Spreadsheets with formulas make me nervous, however, I did update one on the Halloween challenge. So, I need some tech support please.
I joined 2/21 with a SW of 240.4 Where would I document my weekly WW weight which I usually get on Thurs. or Friday? I was guessing in the week 2 column (3/2/14)? 2/27/14 234.8 I would appreciate if someone could help me with entering this. Thanks! Sending good vibes to everyone this week! |
I am doing pretty good this week. Scale moving a little. I am hoping for a better loss by Monday. We are expecting a massive snow storm on sunday. they say in effect til Monday at 9pm. Snowaggedon they are calling it ice and then lots of snow, maybe a foot or more. I still have to work and grateful my job is only 5 min from my house. I am making a greens and beans soup for the weekend. We have a dinner at the sportmens club, never can tell what you will get there. In the past we have held moose, elk bear and even rattle snake. It is a buffet but I will be sticking with tons of salad.

I bounced back up to 195 on Saturday. Down a little today didn't get to the computer much this weekend.

Just a friendly reminder to all re: the Easter spreadsheet challenge, please do not edit any of the last 4 columns (blue, orange, yellow and red) since there are formulas in there. I have fixed it so all of your stats should update automatically whenever you enter your weight for the week, yay!
