Default more activity, more to eat??? HELP

I know when we are closer to 300lbs than to 200lbs it can be hard to be active. Now that I am closer to 200 I find it so much easier. However I do have some concerns. When I first started I had my activity level set to low in my app. But now I do the equivalent to 30 min of running with Just Dance on the Wii everyday. I also started a learn to run program which I do 3 days a week and I use a small home gym 3 days a week for about 45 min ( including rests between sets). On Sundays I only do the wii.

I think I should change my activity level to normal since I dont eat back my exercise calories. But that would increase my calories by about 180, giving me about 1670. What do you guys think or what have you done?

So, without the increase you would be 1,490. In your shoes, I'd simply eat something in the range of 1,490 to 1,670...eating toward the high end on days when you're hungry and toward the low end on days when you're not. That's basically what I've done (restricted my calories to a range, with the low end reflecting minimal activity and the high end reflecting normal activity).

I agree with the other posters. I calorie cycle, I have a range of calories I can eat, from approx 1300-1850, only over time and long term journaling have a fond that usually, 2 days a week I naturally eat roughly 1200-1300 calories, and about 2 days a week I tend to eat about 1800, the rest of the time I tend to settle around 1500. But by looking at my journal, the really hungry days are the days right after my big work outs and the lower days are days of rest or when I wasn't as active. Apparently I'm an intuitive eater by design, even though I never knew it.

I feel strongly that if it's true hunger we should feed our bodies healthy, nutrient dense, calorie sparse food. If it's true hunger. If it's habit like eating chips while watching tv, we should find other things to do.
