Weigh-in this week is 248.0, so 3 lbs down exactly. Much happier with my loss this week overall. I'd gotten a nice whoosh in the first day or two, but have been pretty much stalling out ever since, so I think my body is just playing catch-up. But, it's all about balance too, I guess! Lol. Also, on a side note, this pushed me over my halfway mark to my total goal for the challenge, so I'm pretty happy about that, as well. :yes:

Heidi, Ophelia and Thnknthin1- you guys are doing awesome!!! Way to go, y'all!

I finally saw 165.4! So happy! I took a break from working out for about a week now. I did not continue with the lifting (to answer your question, Ophelia :)), it totally wiped me out. I had an old routine on paper along with the dumbbells but somehow they got lost in the move and I did not save it on the computer, grr!! So I compiled a new beginners' routine and it was way too much for me, lol. I was/am still in dart league and didn't want to be too sore to play (2 more games then I'm done!) At least that was/is my excuse for not keeping up with lifting, lol.

However, I will be restarting the 30 Day Shred (after a year) for sure tonight with 3lbers to start with and keeping up with the 30-60 min on the elliptical trainer. Wish me luck with 30DS, ahh.

I was feeling a little sick this morning, so my numbers for today might not be completely accurate, since it is 1.4 lbs less than yesterday, but I'll be logging it for the week anyhow. That being said, my weigh-in was 243.2...hoping that my body will be nice to me and let me keep this loss. Overall, it would make for a 4.8 loss for the week! However, even without the ickies from this morning, I would still be around 4 lbs down, so I'm still happy about my progress for the week either way.

thnkthin1: Nice loss! Also, is that a new avatar or am I just really unobservant? Haha. Either way, you're looking great! Definitely an inspiration, since we have similar starting weights. :yes:

amandie: Totally understandable...there'd be no point in doing one thing, if it took away your ability to do all the other things you want to do! Also, congrats on seeing 165! That's awesome. Oh, and best of luck on the 30DS, too...I did level 1 and a couple days of level 2, but everyone I was doing it with quit, so I ended up stopping it for now, too -- I'll go back to it when I'm under 200 lbs, I think. I bet you will tear right through it, though! Have fun. :)

A much better week this week, yay! I thought I was going to go crazy if I didn't see some progress this time around, lol. Weigh-in for the week is 236.2, which makes 4 lbs down exactly this week. :D

Thnknthin1- 1lb away from the challenge goal (although you are practically there now!) How freaking awesome!! So happy for you!

I have not been doing great at all, totally off-plan since last Friday, or was it Thursday? Stopped working out too. I have been and am very stressed and anxious currently. About 6 weeks ago, I had an ultrasound that revealed a small cyst on my ovary and the doc initially said it usually passes but to be sure, she wanted more ultrasounds at approx. 6 weeks. Tomorrow morning, I get the post 6 week check up results. Hopefully :crossed: after all that, I will be back on track like usual :crossed: though today I did well, I stayed within my points! :)

Ugh, this was my worst week for weight loss since restarting this journey in general, much less since starting this challenge. I went out of town for the weekend, and while I made the best choices for what was available to me, I still gained then maintained for a few days, so my weigh-in for the week ended up being 235.4 -- which means I didn't even lose a whole pound all week, overall. I know any loss is better than a gain, though, so I'm just going to stay positive, move on and try to do better this week!

Okay, I know I'm posting the day after my official weigh-in day, but I seemed to have flushed out a little bit of my gain today...putting me down to 234.8, which is worth mentioning because that means I hit my challenge goal! Woo! Definitely a silver lining to my slow week. :yes:

Another slow week. I'd lost a couple pounds, but gained most of it back somehow over the past couple days during an experiment to up my calories by 200 per day. Didn't work! Lesson learned, ha. Back up to where I was last Thursday at 234.8 today. Which makes for just 0.6 lbs down this week. Then again, I've also been low on water this week, so I'll focus on that for this next week, as well. Hope everyone's doing okay!

amandie: Thanks! And, good job to you, too! You might not make exactly as much progress as you hoped for in the beginning, but the fact that you're still here and maintaining is a sign of nothing but good things! You've already grown so much stronger than you used to be if you'd have flaked by now. So, in my book, that is a success all its own. Hopefully, you will join another challenge with us when this one is through! :yes:

Alright, well my weight finally broke a little with a visit from the whoosh fairy right here at the end of this challenge. Thank goodness...lol. I forgot to post here yesterday, so I will wrap it up with today's weigh-in of 229.4, which puts me at 5.4 lbs lost since the 12th and about 35.8 lbs down overall! Thank you so much for this challenge...it really helped keep my head in the game and in the proper perspective when I was struggling so often with my daily weigh-ins lately. Are there any plans for a new one? A Summer to Autumn one, perhaps?
