Lightbulb What I feel and think about running

This is what I think during the week about running!

Sunday evening 21.00 – Yeah! I am going to run tomorrow!
Sunday night 23.30 – I think I am going to run tomorrow.
Monday morning 07.45 – Oh no, I have to get up. Oh no I have to run!
Monday morning 08.00 – Oh no, I really have to get up and run!
Monday morning 08.10 – Seriously get up and run!
Monday morning 08.30 – I am brilliant! I am going to run in my fantastic black leggings and pink top!
Monday morning 08.40 – five minutes into running, I love running! I wonder why I didn’t want to do it a few minutes ago.
Monday morning 08.45 – ten minutes, running is so great! I can do this for hours!
Monday morning 08.55 – twenty minutes, I am a mean machine!
Monday morning 09.00 – twenty-five minutes, maybe I will stop in a couple of minutes, that’s enough for today.
Monday morning 09.05 – thirty minutes, I think I’ll stop soon
Monday morning 09.07 – thirty-two minutes, listening to the Final Countdown by Europe, no I won’t stop, I can do it, I am strong!
Monday morning 09.15 – forty minutes, listening to Choose Life from Trainspotting OST I can’t believe I ran 40 minutes. I could run just one freaking minute in August! I am freaking amazing!
Monday morning 09.30 – after weighing myself while having oats for breakfast, I love love love running!
Monday morning 11.00 – when will I run again?
Monday evening 22.00 – returning from work, oh no tomorrow is not a running day, bummer. I can’t wait to run again.
Monday night 23.30 – Tuesday will be over quickly and I will run again.
Tuesday all day – Yeah, tomorrow I am going to run again!
Tuesday evening 22.00 – how lovely! Tomorrow morning I will enjoy the best run ever!
Tuesday night 23.30 – lying in bed, maybe I’ll skip running tomorrow I am tired.
Wednesday morning 07.45 – Oh no, I have to get up. Oh no I have to run!
Wednesday morning 08.00 – Oh no, I really have to get up and run!
Wednesday morning 08.10 – Seriously get up and run!
Wednesday morning 08.30 – I am brilliant! I am going to run in my fantastic black leggings and pink top!
Wednesday morning 08.40 – five minutes into running, I love running!
Wednesday morning 09.00 – twenty-five minutes, maybe I will stop in a couple of minutes, that’s enough for today.

Repeat 3 times a week!

Lol thats kind of how it works for me also though I'm walking, I wish I could run but can't due to past injury. Keep up the good work!

Isn't it amazing how the brain works? I feel that way about any hard exercise. But... the only time I feel I love it is after I'm done and I have an endorphin high. I almost never look forward to it.

That was so me except with the treadmill. I nodded and laughed the whole time I read it. And I did put on a cute outfit to workout in today in the basement, sometimes it helps me!

Anyone else notice the 5 minute intervals like noted in Kitcherella's post seem to be the longest 5 minutes when you are negotiating with yourself? I tell myself 5 more minutes before I workout and they go by in a blink!

Hahah, this is really awesome. I now want a cute work-out outfit though.

Maybe I'll buy some Galaxy leggings and go to town.

Haha, this is great! My only switch is that I power walk and for the first 5-10 minutes I always argue with myself to push myself harder and get past the pain... then the pain's gone and I fly! Again, I love this post!

Yeay for endorphin high!
Yeay for motivating each other!
Yeay for cute outfits!
Yeay for 5-minute mind trips!
Yeay for smiles!

And just a reminder, tomorrow is a running day for me, I have been excited all day about it but as it is 23.27 and my eyes are closing and I am yawning I am thinking 'Maybe I should skip tomorrow's run'
I won't!

I don't know if anyone else reads this blog, but her newest entry reminded me of this post!

It's fun to see what goes through everyone's head when they workout; makes you realize you're not alone in your crazy thoughts!
