Wow your the first person I've ever seen get to goal since I've been coming here, it's wonderful to think with enough determination you can get there. Congratulations!!

Thank you!!! The support here has been a HUGE help!! It really is hard to lose weight alone. It's SO helpful to know there's a bunch of us in there together struggling with weight. Now that I'm at goal, I'm not going to try to lose anymore weight. I'm allowing myself to eat more, but still watching my calories. I now need to experiment to find the calorie level it takes to maintain my weight.

Celebrate? Well, I'm still working on the makeover. I still am planning on getting my ears pierced and need a few more outfits. Outside of that, I think the best thing I can do is get my life more in order --- find an apartment, etc. One day at a time though.

I don't want to leave 3fc though. I've lost, but that's only the first stage. The next stage is maintainance - and that will be a challenge too. Can I hang around as a maintainer?

Jeanne

Default A little late, but

Congratulations!

It would be great if you would still post here. I'd like to hear what maintenance is like (in my many years of dieting, I've never made it there. Hopefully some day . . .)

We would be sad if you didn't. Weight loss is step one...weight maintainance is step two. Step two lasts forever (of course that is how long step one is taking me!!!). Please stay and share. We have so much to learn from you!!!!

Jeanne, if you left we'd have to hunt you down and drag you back! I know I am interested in hearing not only about the challenges of maintenance, but how being "newly thin" changes or doesn't change aspects of your life.

Please stay!
