  • Twenty pages is too long, ladies so I thought I would start another one!

I'm at 228.4 today. So happy to see the 220's. It's been forever since I've been here (pre-pregnancy). My body is so different this time because I am exercising less. I weigh less but I am definitely not as thin! Such a bummer.
  • I know I'm in the 220s just not exactly sure what my number is. My guess is still around 227. I'll update on the 17th.
  • Scale said 236.6 this morning ... I'll take it after the high sodium weekend I've had.

I also have to work on my sleeping. I have no excuse other than drinking too much coffee with dinner. I've been getting about 6 hours per night lately, but I read somewhere that for weight loss, it is best to aim for 8-9 hours. Anyone know if there is validity to this?
  • 227.8. Probably is time to sit down and rework my goals and recommit to a plan.
  • My scale said 239.7 this morning!! Woohoo! It hasn't been in the 230's in YEARS! Sooo, I'll be passing through this forum, hopefully not for too long, while we all work our way into the 210's!!
  • Hello everyone. I'm new here.
I have a big journey to go thru. I have to loose 87lbs. I have been Yoyoyoyo dieting since I was 16 yrs. history of bulimia and binge eating. I am an emotional eater as well. This is the first time I'm admitting this anyone other than family. I am hoping I will get support and hopefully help other too. I have two children and semi supportive husband. I have joined the gym two weeks ago. Goal to excersise 6 days/wk. eat healthy. No more strick/quick diets. I have been in dr. Bernstein diet, herbal magic, ideal protein too. Spent thousands of dollars and gained all the weight again. The maximum I have been is 270lbs.
I am hopeful this time and believe this the time when I will loose the weight permanetly. Thank u.
  • hey weighed in at 229 this morning..out of the 30s! took me a whole month..time to get serious and work towards onederland..
  • 237 this morning
  • Just wanted to poke my head in and say hello. I've been sick all weekend and it's helped me peel off a few pounds and weigh in this morning at 238.8. However, I'm not confident I won't see a few of those pounds once I'm feeling better so I'm hesitant to jump right in.

This decade is very special to me because when I was losing weight in 2008, I got to 232 and maintained it for awhile, but then gained it all back and another 5 lbs. I know when I hit 229 it will feel great!

My next reward (after 240) is 225, when my husband and I will do indoor skydiving! The weight limit is 230 and it's something I've always wanted to do so I'm very much looking forward to it!

Nice to see some familiar faces and meet all the new ones!
  • 226.6 almost back to my January low of 222. It has been a long recovery, but I am determined to get out of here. Love you all, but I have to go. lol
  • Still here. 225.0 Seems like I am feeling lonely did everyone graduate down but me?
  • Im still here and I feel like I have been here for 6 months!! My body is loving the 224-227 range.
  • Gained 2 lbs today due to poor choices and high sodium... wake up call... I was at my goal for March 1st, then gained 2.6 lbs back since Sunday... ugh... have to be completely on plan for the rest of the month so I can get back there!
  • Hi ladies,

I had looked for this thread before, but I couldn't find it. Thanks for bumping it up Cathii888. I am 231 and sooo ready to be in the 220's. I'm hoping to be there by next Monday, we'll see.
  • In the other thread the question was asked about which plan we are on, I'm following The Body Type Diet by Dr. Abravanel. I was typed by the co-author of the book as an Adrenal Type so that is the one that I follow. For A-types, it emphasizes vegetables and fruit, along with poultry, fish, whole grains and low-fat dairy. I like it, but I've only been on it for a week. Back in the 80s I lost weight on this plan and kept it off for a long time, but that was back when I only had to diet off 10 pounds or so! It's been revised since the 80s and now emphasizes exercise much more.
