Hi everyone.

ArcticMama- Congrats on that baby!!! 4 is a wonderful number. I miss those baby days!! Definitely don't want any more, 4 is enough for me, but I miss the days of tiny toes and tiny fingers and rocking them all hours of the night just wondering who that little person would be.

Thank you! We're excited and definitely not done having babies (I couldn't imagine being done, our family still feels quite small!), but even with a toddler now I still miss the sweet infant stage. It will be interesting to see how crazy life gets when this one is born!

Artic Mama, I know you hate the word challenge (lol) but I think we should challenge ourselves to stay on plan throughout these tough winter months when it's soooo easy to fall prey to holiday food. :) I made a promise to myself to not look up one day and there is only two months left until summer and I'm still big as a house. That requires staying on plan through the cold so I'll be here even if I'm the only one posting on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day! :D

I'm definitely not opposed to the idea or challenges, in general. It is twenty threads, each of a slightly different time period, that drives me nuts! I just wish some would consider joining an existing challenge late than making a whole new thread

I hope there is SOME action on these boards! I come to here for support that I lack in other places. Granted it helps that I'm losing weight with co-workers, but my grandmother can be so critical of my weight. Usually the weekly call from her gets me down. I just started up again also. Hopefully there will be a few of us that remain dedicated throughout the holiday season! We will be that much further ahead of those that make the New Year's resolutions!

Those are the kind of calls that I go off into another world thinking my own thoughts and just let out a few "uh-huh" and "yep" comments when I think they are appropriate.

I actually had to block some of my "closest" family member out of my life because they were so negative about how I choose to live my life. It was a hard decision but I am so happy now that I did it. I still question whether or not it was the right decision but I would still be getting put down all the time if I hadn't.

We both said 4 was enough.. it was where we felt comfortable budget wise, and for some reason it was the right number. Then number 4 came along. He was my 4th c-section, and I hemmoraged. I really was glad my tubes were tied. Then I started having baby-itis. I really thought about getting my tubes untied. I didn't want to live with that longing for a baby forever. Then a few months before my youngest turned 2, he potty trained himself. It was like litterally poof. No more diapers (only a pull up at night), and no accidents. Once those diapers were gone it was like instant. I was done, I knew I was done. I did not ever want to venture into the realm of diapers again. I love myself some super cute squishy cloth diapers, but I really don't miss them. I have thought about making them just to sell now so I still get to play with them and they aren't smelly or dirty..lol
