shrinking - not the good way!
so, i had a dr.'s appointment today (ear infection). they measured my height.
5'5.5" !!! (i know, that's not short, it's average)
but wait. i've been saying i'm 5'7" for YEARS. and i'm 22, i'm not really shrinking. that was such a shock to me.
so i've re-adjusted my goal weight to 150, instead of 160.
sigh. 10 more!

Wow Holly,
that's bizarre..
The last doc's appt I went to that they measured me I actually found out I was taller than I thought.
But also, just so you know, you do shrink during the day... gravity and all. Fun stuff!

Wow holly! When was the last time you were measured? I know that you shrink as you get older, but boy, you are just a young chick (and I can say that as you are 6 years younger than I, and in chicken years, 6 is an aweful lot ).

Holly -
If it makes you feel any better, my childhood doctor's height thingee was off by almost 2 inches. All my life I thought I was almost 5'11" But at my first visit to the gyno I was 5'9"! I thought it was their problem but no... I'm 5'9"

That is weird! I wonder if you measured somewhere else if it would be the same as your doctor's office. You should try a different place and see.
I'm older than all of you so I know I'm shrinking. I've always been 5'9" (and I'm sticking with that no matter what!), but when I measured at the doctor's office recently, I was 5'8 1/2" . Gotta start drinking milk!

I was 5'6" from the time I was 12 until I was 17...then I grew 3 inches (when I was 17!). I'm 5'9" -- I'd love to be 5'6" again.

I'm 5'6 - That's one place where I have always been pleasantly average or "normal". Holly - I'd get re-checked. Doesn't sound quite right to me.

My best friend was about 5"5 in HS, then she grew to about 5'6 and a half, which she just rounded up to 5'7". I am 5'7" & I can see over her head now, on her drivers license she had to put 5'4". Not sure why it happens, but it's not just you.

Hey Raelynn ~
If we could figure out a way to transplant inches ~ I'd be glad to have the 3 you don't want. I am 5'2" and would love to have some extra of that. LOL
