Hi, everyone. I noticed the changing chicks, too. Great job to all!
Great - I know what you mean about having a cheerleader. My gym is very small and all the trainers know all the members. Most members know most of the other members. Two trainers in particular have encouraged me all along and it does mean a lot to think they care enough to comment. I always try to comment to others, too, because I know how good it feels when someone notices. A "you're really looking good" from a friend really goes a long way. Lin |
Oh my goodness ! My friends at the gym have played a major part in my weight loss along with 3FC ! I have one friend that has believed in me my entire journey. It makes giving up never an option. She has been down for a couple of months with an injury and claims that is why I have'nt loss any weight for two months LOL ! We do motivate each other , I think she is right , no kidding . It is stange how a partner can keep you totally FOCUSED !!! I think she will be ready to come back next week . I sure hope so !

yes, I love getting to change my chickie! Those are my 5 lb minigoal reminders every day! Great job on changing yours too!! |
another good day on plan!
|
oh I like this! 100 days on plan works for me!!!!
|
mixed it up today on the exercise - 10 minutes of steps on the Wii, a Biggest Loser 10 minute cardio video and then a Denise Austin 12 minute cardio video.

Today should be weigh in for me, but I am trying something new and am only going to weigh on the first Monday of the month. I'm "practicing" maintenance for the month of October. If my jeans feel even a little bit snug, I 'll jump back on the scale and see how it's going. This is going to make me a little antsy, but I'm going to try it. It's the exact opposite of the antsy I felt when I visited the daily weigh in thread. I love all the people in it, but it really made me nuts to post my weight every day, so now I just lurk in that thread.

I'm still on plan!
Lin- It is really inspirational to see you towards the end of your weight loss goal and hear about what you are trying out to maintain and getting in that mindset. I think the end of the weight loss and the start of maintenance is going to be a hard time for me because it will be different. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and showing us how it's done. |
Lin- Taking a break from weighing in daily while you're trying out maintenance sounds like a great idea! I used to only weigh in once every couple of weeks...it was difficult at first, but after a while you stop being antsy and start appreciating the fact that you don't have to agonize over every little fluctuation in your weight anymore. :) Good luck!
My body is...well, off, but I can't really figure out why. I'm not SICK per se, but I've been beyond exhausted all week (like, taking-two-hour-naps-during-the-day exhausted) and had this weird bloated feeling. I've still been working out and eating under 1400 calories a day, but for some reason my weight abruptly shot back up and won't go down (and it's not TOM!) Any ideas on what could be causing this? |
GreatPerhaps - is there any chance you are pregnant? That kind of exhaustion is what makes me wonder....

I posted my confession here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/100-...-ok-about.html
So I won't get 100% for every day of this challenge. But that's ok, life happens and I am back on track today. I think I was starting to feel the pressure of having been on plan 100% since I started in May and now that pressure is gone - I went off plan and the world didn't end! lol! |
AprilSnow- My partner is of the same sex, so as far as I know that's not an option
Wonder if I could have mono or something, though? |
Also, as odd as this is going to sound, I'm proud of you for your first day off plan! I think it's important to learn that you ARE strong enough now to "just have one" and then be able to stop and get back on track the next day. :)

but, yeah, it could definitely be some sort of virus. Just try to take it easy and get lots of rest and fluids and see what happens. |

thanks, I just posted on another thread that it is actually a bit of a relief to not have the pressure of "how long can I keep doing 100%?" any more. I am getting back on track and will want to keep on plan again now but it's definitely not the end of the world to have done this. |
