What I am thankful for today

* that I made it to work on time
* that my hubby came home when he planned to stay overnight at a friend's closer to his work
* that I was asked to go to lunch with my coworkers
* for air conditioning

Today I am grateful for
+ air conditioning that allows me to sleep
+ a solid night of sleep - not even a potty run!
+ a very positive reaction to my financial projections yesterday
+ only one meeting today and that's a quickie
+ was able to work in a quick coffee with Ted and Donna at the Diner
+ dogs were fine on their own all day
+ canceled my whole Saturday commitment and got someone to replace me

- got carpets cleaned yesterday and they look nice

- had a nice long talk with my sister yesterday

- air conditioning and ceiling fans on a hot hot day

- Meg has a great time in Montanna last weekend. Her best friend's mom flew Meg and another friend to Boseman to surprise her pregnant friend, Emily, for the baby shower.

Someone just started a thread about being judged for being large and wearing spandex at the gym. That made me angry that someone has to experience that because it NEVER happens at my gym.

I am so very grateful for my gym where there are only women, none of whom have never judged me or any other member in a negative way. The owner, the staff, and all the other members have formed a support network for any member who wants to be a part of it. That's what LIFE should be about. I'm lucky to have found it at my little non-franchised local gym. What a lucky day January 13th was!

Today I'm also grateful for the handful of ripe cherry tomatoes that never even made it into the house - they tasted so sweet!

+ having finished the schoolwork judging in just 5 hours
+ the first crop of green beans
+ weight is holding steady despite rather poor eating this week
+ a day with just "me" appointments
+ book club tonight on the other side of the lake and Heather is driving that scary forest road!
+ a lovely sunny day with moderate temperatures
+ a free weekend with no plans aside from Church

- mom fell over her coffee table and landed on her face. We spent the night at the ER. I am grateful that nothing is broke. Her neck is sore and she has a grapefruit size bruise and bump on her leg.
