I've noticed weird changes in how the fat comes off my body. I use to think that it would be a while before I saw my ribs thinking that the weight would first come out of my tatas, then maybe my arms and thighs being the most noticeable. However, the biggest change seems to be my chest cavity, it's like all the weight is disappearing from just this lat area, my ribs are already poking out. I've also noticed my thighs are getting a little smaller. There is still no change on my stomach that I can see and my breast are still the same size (my husband is thankful). It's so interesting to see how fat is distributed on my body, I seem to hold a LOT in my hips.
The first place I noticed was in my fingers - my rings didn't stay on but the ones that were too tight would fit just fine.
The second was in the 'girls' - I had to get new bras before I had to get new panties.
Third was in my face and neck or maybe it was my hair style.
The last place for me to lose it is in my lower pooched out abdomin. I have always shown any gainage (is that a word??) there to begin with. First on - last off. I also think it has to do with where I have the most fat cells.
I can tell my face has definitely slimmed down, proven through pictures. My hips/butt/thighs seem to also be among the places that slim down first (which I know because I can fit into my old pants again!)...I think boobs/chest area is one of the last things, I know at 65 pounds lighter I'm a C and right now I'm a D. (Also start fitting into large tops.)
It tends to come off in reverse order of how it went on. In that way, I lost from my rear end first and am going to lose my thighs last.
Lately it has been melting off my hips. My chest and hips have always matched either all the way up and all the way down, but right now my hips are two inches smaller than my chest. I'm becoming a triangle!
One of the first places I lose weight is in my face. But I lose weight all over at once because I'm working using my whole body. My girlies girls stick out more than my tummy does now lol.
I lost 7 inches first in my belly then I lost my rear end. My hips have also slimmed down (I didn't know I was carrying that much weight on them). I think it is attacking the arms now. I always read that the last place you gained is where you lose it first and I remember the belly being the last place I gained. It just kept getting bigger and bigger until I did something about it.
I noticed that I started losing from my thighs, hips and bootie first. Next my face and jowls, then my stomach (I have a two-pack showing) and bust. My arms and calves are getting smaller slowly, but they are also getting muscular since I lift weights and bicycle alot. Bra size has dropped eight inches. It is amazing that my bras are getting smaller, but my "girls" are showing more (no more competition from the stomach).
My thighs and upper arms seem to be most stubborn at holding on to fat. They have always been big, even when I was a much lower weight.
It was pretty eye opening for me a few weeks ago when I took some random measurements - I keep a spread sheet with weight and measurements and have done since 2000 - and found that my thighs are now almost the same as when I weighed almost 20 lbs less!
I first lost in my hands and wrists. Not the places that I would have chosen but it is what it is. My body does not stay in proportion. For awhile, my top half will be smaller than my bottom half. Then it reverses. I just decided to be glad that my left half isn't smaller than my right half.
my face, chest cavity, and collar bones seem to pop out first when I lose weight
and my waist. I can lose 2 inches from there in a snap but my hips stay the same

So where do you lose weight from first?
For me the first 20 pounds it was all my face, the next 30 was from the waist up area except arms, and the 15 I just lost was FINLLY in the waist down my arms still arent getting smaller yet.

I think it has been pretty proportional, and that's a big part of why I can't see much of a difference in myself. I still have the same apple shape, everything is just a little smaller. My problem areas (belly and upper body especially) are still pretty fat. There's some proof in my sizes - at my highest I was wearing 26w pants and 3x-4x tops, now I am in 20w pants and 1x-2x tops. Because of my upper body weight, my sizes are still big compared to others I've talked to on here with the same height and weight. I'm just being patient and looking forward to some of my parts looking skinny someday!
it's funny, when I GAIN weight it first shows up in my butt/thigh middle area, but when I lose, it's like a tree shedding from the top down LOL My face, my arms, fingers, waist, hips, thighs...and finally feet went down a shoe size!
