- skip the rice and naan, maybe get some whole wheat roti/chappatis if included
- look for dals (lentil soups) to fill up on
- look for tandoori meats to avoid heavy sauces
- avoid the butter/cream dishes
- keep my serving sizes small
- eat slowly and drink lots of water or tea
I know that eating out varies hugely depending on how food's prepared at the specific location...but, if anyone happens to know any standard dishes that are on the healthier end of the spectrum, I'd appreciate suggestions

I'm cooking Indian and Thai food this week...and from the Indian recipes I have, it's going to be really tough to lower the fat, sodium and calories...sheesh...didn't realize Indian food was so LOADED with everything bad...but taste soooooooo GOOD!
