Thanks everybody! You are all the best! And we are all getting real and facing the music (if necessary...)
Now, I'm facing a weird scale dilemma: I'm JUST CRAZY enough to have two scales. One is my fancy Tanita which I use for my "official" weights. The other is an old Taylor. My Tanita has ALWAYS been 1.8 lbs lighter than the other scale, very consistent. (yes, I do weigh myself on both from time to time.) So, this morning, my Tanita body fat % seemed weirdly high and my weight was 192... so I hopped on the other scale, and I weighed 191 on the other scale.... when it should have been 193.8... hmm. I turned off my Tanita, picked it up and put it down, which will sometimes make it reset to accurate, but both stayed the same. I'm sticking with the Tanita weight, but I'm feeling hopeful that maybe I've actually lost a couple of pounds. I think I'm really going to see a loss tomorrow... maybe I'll even get back into the 180s for the first time since November 21. That would be TERRIFIC. |
