Default A little embarrassing....

So I'm doing C25K, and I have become aware that when I'm running (now that I'm up to a time that is actually sort of taking awhile) I jiggle. Alot. I'm pretty sure the people behind me aren't looking at my butt and thighs flopping around, but its bugging me.

Anyone have any suggestions? Wearing spandex under the sweatpants?

Thanks!

You could try using spandex.

Same issue... I wear running tights that I got at Target with a Nike running tank. They both make it a lot more comfortable to run. I run on a treadmill in my house, so i don't wear anything over them, but I totally could (and WOULD if I ever left the house! ). It would still be comfortable.

I wear bike shorts and a good fitting sports bra at home, and then when I am at the gym, I throw a loose tshirt over the bra and either basketball-type shorts or loose yoga pants. It helps me a lot with the self-consciousness!

Spandex are awesome, it contains the bounce and jiggle, even for me still~!
Then to be honest, I used to choose a treadmill that wasn't in front of everyone, sort of off to the side. Plus I stop worrying about it. When I see large people running it makes my heart smile becuase I know too how hard it was to do it. So I think good stuff, never bad. I sorta feel that way about most people in the gym, they are there for health and if they thought those sorts of things then shame on them!

I wear sliders/spandex. It helps. Also, I have a pair yoga pants that have a super high waistband, so that helps the middle.

Yes spandex, compression shorts, biker shorts whichever you fancy. But I remember when I got to the place where I didn't worry about the jiggle and what people thought because I am on a mission to change my life. Keep up the running because the jiggle will get less and less!

Other runners are too busy trying to breathe to think about your jiggling, just keep running!

It's that saying: "You worry to much about what other people think of you. Stop worrying, because they aren't thinking about you they're thinking about themselves."

Most people (especially at a gym or running outside) are way too focused on what they're doing to even give someone else a glance, much less a thought.

Keep on running, you're doing great!!

Good tips. I was just thinking today that I'm jiggling when I run. My pants and underpants are a bit big on me and I'll have to take up the spandex idea.

Two bras is a must for me cause I heavily jiggle in that area.

In lieu of 2 bras you might check out Enell sports bras. They strap those suckers down, no movement at all. They're a bit pricey, but worth every penny IMO if you're top heavy like I am.
