Ms. Pen...I have the same problem...untucked shirts and sweaters tend to hit me right where the saddlebags begin...VERY unflattering! :o

I shop from the Chadwick's catalog (www.chadwicks.com). They have some reasonably priced casual business wear, but be careful - their stretch pants run really, really small!

Pretty Face - I just recently shrunk a $30 Merino wool sweater. I paid no attention to the label and tossed it in the washer and the dryer. I gave it to my 7-year old grandniece - that's how small it shrunk!

MORE SHOPPING.....

for large sizes and great prices..both
K-Mart and WalMart have sizes up to
3x. Avenue has very stylish clothes,
but a bit higher priced. Fashion Bug
is good (they have great sales). Also
catalog wise...Blair has beautiful and
current clothing up to size 3x and it's a
good size 3x (not skimpy on material).
Jessica London has nice fashions. And
don't forget Silhouettes (a bit pricier).
Also Ulla Popkens has very roomy
jeans ($24.00)...(just bought 2 pairs),
and more casual clothing. Just my Size
has large size casual wear and undies.
Newport News has large sizes (but I
find not so young-style ..more older
fashions). Chadwicks also has large
sizes as well as smaller regular sizes...
(their sister company for only large
sizes is Jessica London). Spielbergs,
Sears and JC Penny also have large
sizes & Catherines (more expensive),
also. Modern Woman. Also Liz (a
division of Liz Clairborne for designer
wear) and New York Woman (chic,
classic, costly), and Ashanti (very $$$).
Can you tell I'm a shopper!!!???

Lane Bryant catalog and store are two seperate companies. When I worked there (for a week) the story was that due to a lawsuit the catalog did not have to change it's name.

I LOVE Lane Bryant. I love the clothes but the prices stink and I HATE their bras. I also totally adore Torrid. It's a sister store to Hot Topic. Very trendy, very hip. They only have a few "real" stores (thank goodness I have one!) but they also have a website www.torrid.com

Thank you for the Torrid link, Jessica. :)
